I don't want to live with my dad anymore as I fear, he's not good for my mental health. But alas stay with him I have to as no one but my mom and maybe sister would take me in. Mom lives at the coast(Garibaldi) and sister currently resides in Corvallis and in collage. Both too far away from where I work.

Had 5 inches of rain in 30 min.
They are calling it unofficially another 100 years flood.
It is stupid crazy what the water did here.
I'm fine but a lot of where I walk the dog is damaged or gone.

No one told me till now.

Just learned that someone else in my state earned the public affairs award I was shooting for, as mentioned in an earlier post here. How ironic that it's someone in my former unit. Expecting the powers that be to sing the man's praises as this is the only national recognition my state has received from headquarters this year.

A Co worker almost died. This guy is fit as heck. Yet it took 4 hours of emergency surgery to remove blood clots from his lungs.

And then another coworker 2 days later had a stroke. And then yet another coworker had a family member go to hospital.
And lastly 4 people are very sick with something respiratory. So far I'm alive.

I blame the workplace. It's stressful.

Three of the experiments I ran will have to be redone. Got real favorable readings. Unfortunately the environment gave false reading on the untreated substrates. Not a real set back. Just time consuming. The remaining six experiments gave very good readings. Proving the difference between the treated and untreated substrates. Still need the remaining three. Will be adding a fourth as a continuation of two of the successful experiments.

Got home. Message on my old answering machine that almost never gets calls. The phone line is almost never used and that number is unlisted and also is hardly given out.

I checked the message... and I got so creeped out. I am still rattled.

The message went like this...

Hi this is NAMBLA, the national man boy love association. You called me . Unless you are an older man who is in love with a young boy, don't call this number again.

They hung up.
I stood there trembling and getting scared and worried and freaking out and getting mad all at the same time. Boy am I mad!!
What is this all about!?!?

A pedophile group said I called them!? No way in freaking heck!
Plus why would they call anyone telling them who their organization was!? Something is wrong here. I got the caller ID from them.

I don't know what to think.
Did a person call that group using my number( spoofed)?
And that dumb butt called the number back to tell them not to call unless they were creeps too!?

Did someone play a bad prank on me by calling me using a spoofed phone number and claiming I called that group!?
I want nothing to do with any of this!!!!

Jade. Report it. If it's a prank then no harm done. If there is a group like that then you'll be helping to keep them from harming.

My bad news. The unbelievably horrible attitude of management at my work place. We recently had a safety meeting. The subject of doing safety drills was brought up. The off shifts have not had a single drill in years. We found out why. "There isn't enough people on the off shifts to be concerned about it." My opinion of my work place can not get any lower than it is now. To make it clear we are going to start having drills on the off shifts.

I bought something online a few weeks ago. I got a confirmation or was ordered and was on its way.
The shipper said the label was created.
It was supposed to arrive in 5 max.
It's been 2 weeks. 2 days ago I emailed company to see if shipper got the package since the shipper told me they didn't.
I got an email.
The man who was running the company I bought from, died. It was a small family run company. Now a family member has to greive as an as somehow keep the company working.
I feel so bad for asking them.
I actually joked to myself, what did they die?
Yes. Yes they did.

What I ordered was one of a kind, rare, vintage, and special, and of course.... sort of pricey.
Idk. I feel weird. I want my thing. But I don't want to bother people after they lost a loved one.

Just discovered that I was removed as administrator on a FB page that I had established ten years ago, and was still maintaining up to this weekend. The joke will be on them in a few months if I return to group staff.

My ordered item is 1 month overdue. I'm getting upset.
Company said they would ship another. Using a different company and for no charge. I may take them up on that.
Is been long enough that they should either refund all my money or do what they said they would do. A death in the family is hard. But a company keeps going or shuts down, not this half asped stuff.

I got diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis today.
How fun. I feel worse hearing it from a doctor. Will start a medicine which has side effects worse than the issue.
Can I go away now and not come back?

Received notice from my healthcare group that they experienced a ransomware attack earlier this month. My data may be compromised, including my SSN and credit card info. They provided a free ID protection account with a special code to apply. Yet the protection firm hasn't responded to confirm my account. It's been several days.

Yesterday evening, it was discovered that my account on a hobby forum had been upgraded. Surprising in that I hadn't been there in two weeks. So the upgrade was cancelled and password changed. Won't be another two weeks until the credit card statement arrives.

Found out today my brother had an accident. He's fine and no one else got hurt. Just a fender bender but it was with my mom's car. She's already said she doesn't want me to buy her a new one. I know she can't afford it nor can she afford payments. She'll get a new one before i spend $7k+ to fix her old one.
