Title: [SPOILER] Varr's Puzzle #4

First, if you haven't seen the puzzle, go try it out before reading this.

DO NOT LOOK BELOW UNLESS YOU ARE READY FOR... A HINT.

This isn't the solution. I figured I should give a hint first with this one, especially since this puzzle can make you think you got it right when you didn't.

Here's the hint: There are several map arrangements. All of them appear to work. However only one is actually the correct arrangement. Remember that the gaurd said you can figure it out as long as you know which bridge to take to get there.

Now, if you haven't already solved it, go back and try it again.

WARNING: BELOW IS THE SOLUTION.

The guard said you can figure it out as long as you know which bridge to take to get there, so knowing what bridge to take is the key to finding the right map arrangement. The places marked 0 have no exits. Working from this, it can not be the northern most bridge (the shaded areas have no way back out). And if we assume you have to take the southern most bridge we can get no farther then figure A. Anything more and we would just be guessing. So if we knew we had to take the southern most bridge on the way in, we still couldn't figure out the map. And so the southern most cannot be one we need to take on the way in.

But if we assume you have to take the middle bridge we get only one possible arrangement. So if we knew we had to take the middle bridge on the way in, we could figure it out just like the guard said. Thus the correct arrangement is the one shown in figure B. (At this point, all that's left is following a path that takes us in and back out. This is also shown in figure B.)
