I believe you are refuring to "Lower Past Analytical Association".
Most people refure to animals in their mind as ignorant and lovable. and because of human generaly associate the same characteristics with infants. They often use this tactic to talk to animals. Also during the growth process, man can recognize appropriet speach patterns for age and person. With animals however, this is not well defined. So most people stick to talking this way.
Interesting. I knew there was some kind of connection, but I didn't know the psychological details behind it.
What surprises me, though - what has surprised me since I started this thread - is that so many furs *don't* exhibit this behavior. It seems to be pretty universal among the non-furs I know (read: almost everyone I know), so I guess many of us genuinely do view animals differently than other people do.
The shape of your reality is based on the preceptions of your trueth. And because your trueths are constantly being challenged by the world. your view point is constantly changing as well. We furries have come to accept our animal counter parts as equals. We even envy them at times. so logicaly we treat them as such.

The thing is all people have the capacity to reason and think.(Not everyone uses it to the right degree
) so we all develope a different ego. some Preceptions are way too small
and some are vast
. So no one person has the same thought pattern.
The ego, built off of the relationships, enteractions, and experinces one recieves in life.
these things serves to shape the patterns of our hearts and minds. So honestly you can see from this why we are all different in thought patterns.
