Author Topic: Do you juggle more than one fursona? (Read 9590 times)

Before, I used to only stick with a single fursona, a basic housecat, but with blue tiger-ish stripes names Yeashu. He is fun to eperiment with and fantasize being, but when it came to descriptions, RPing, and the occasional rendition.comission(contact me, Id love to see someone try and draw Yeashu), he was a bit of a burden, since he was a hard one to describe.

As of late, I've been working on another fursona, this one refelcting off my love for cougars. Just like my "prime" fursona Yeashu, this new cougar forsona(who is names "Bo") is a teenager, but has more of a rebellious aura and look to him, and hes a bit of a loner to most. He's great to work with so far, and i'm trying to illustrate him(I cant draw for beans).

How about you all? Someone told me having more than one fursona is a bad thing, but I think its a-ok, as long as you dont overdo it.

I feel that having more than one fursona is your choice, just don't have like 50.....

I'll stick to Manethran though, I already got a good description of him and and a fairly good story line. I do have other characters that I use in my stories, but thats it. I can get confused to easily to juggle more personalities than the ones I have IRL...

I've had a few fursonae over the years, but I tend to stick with Benjamin now as my personal fur.
I've had lion characters, tiger characters, and even the occasional lioness character. A bit of me is in each, but the liger is what I truly represent myself with.

I sorta do a reverse. Which seems common with alot of things that I do. I have only one Fursona, but there are many diffrent variations on that one Fursona. Mostly for Role Playing reasons, but sometimes just for off the wall things.

So far I have the following variations:

Black Star Squadron RPG: This is actually human based, but the same sort of thinking is here

My everyday use one, the one that you see. Which is set in present day.

The Uber Defense fleet commander with telepathic and Telekinetic abilities. Mostly as a show off type thing. -_^

Jadnar Of the Furtopia RPG

And Jadnar Daj of the newest RPG that I am a part of, Dargassian Saga.

I'll probubly have more variations, but That's Jadnar and his schizoid self. ^_^

I can relate to that, Jadnar.
I'm on several mucks, and often role play with furs, which means that I quite often have some variations in my character. Am ultimately a personal fur, but there are a few variations that I make in order to suit some of the RP worlds I fool around in.

Chakat ~ Taur Ecco....when Im feeling feral and hyper
Were~When Im upset or very angry, or depressed....

I have one fursona and a few characters based off of myself (one who is pretty much exacly like my fursona, a demon who takes the form of a coyote through sand. Of course, they don't live in the same world, but if I ever do anything with that fighting game, I'll put Maruku in there through Ante and make him kill a couple people just to add a DOA-style story).

I only have one fursona, which is Ramla. I have a couple RPG characters, but they're just characters I use for that fun hobby.

Im assuming from what I know of Furries that you can have more then one persona. Some who are more diehard wont, though I have seen many who have had what they refer to as split personalities. I am also assuming that you are intending the more role play sort of persona when you mention more then one. Sure...I can role play many characters at once. I dont see where it woudl be illogical to do so with something more meaningful to ones heart.

One fursona. Thoue He has Changed alot in name and looks sence his begainings.
But Lots of RP charters over the years. And many more to come..

I have a dozen characters which I frequently RP, but I only consider Terastas to be my fursona. I've known people that had more than one, but they were all basically just the same personality imbedded in a different species.

I've only had a fursona for a year. In fact it will be the 16th of July, since I came into my wolfness. One for me is enough. BTW, I'll take a shot at drawing Yeashu.

I only have two fursonas.
Firebreath, who you are all looking at; the cub-looking, gun-toting, explosive-loving wolffox.
He's my main character. I will usually adapt his temper according to the type of roleplay that is being done at the moment.

But when it comes down to space battles, I have another one, which is NauvaWulf. Basically, another story I was working on, and this time, it's the furry-lik epeople vs the humans, and NauvaWulf was taken, while at a very young age, under the protection of a human. So, he's basically a furry-like species, who's the enemy of the human race, but raised as a human, and now a spacemecha pilot for the Unified Earth Forces...
But god forbid they ever tell him what the enemy's like... -_^

I have one main fursona, Kada-Ru the pegasus but I do have other animals as different aspects of my personalities. I think there is a total of 6. Pegasus, black leopard, panther (yes two different black cats and this one LOVES to get into and cause trouble!

I've got my main wolfy fursona that I most commonly associate with.
Then there are lesser fursonas that I have, depending on my mood. (A feline one and a raven)

i have my lion cub which is me all over (apart from looks). and i do others based on the animals i like. my fursona is called simon even tho that aint my real name. and im workin on a grey wolf called josh. maybe ill come up with sum fantasy ones who knows!
