The GOP  had their second political conference in  a  year. Likely because  Trump told
them to. On January 6 one of the capital invaders was killed, and to hear Trump talk

you would have thought she was a national hero instead of being a lawbreaker apparently
out to attack the Speaker of the house.

Trump is doing the best he can to convince people those who invaded the capital
had a right to  do so. Not only that but were patriots by trying to keep him in the
White House. He is still making the claim he will be returned to the White House
this August. Obviously a fantasy of his, or a way he feels will keep himself in the
public eye. The problem is this could lead to another insurrection by Trump
supporters when it fails to happen. This possibility is leading government officials
to prepare possible legal action against Trump and media supporters of Trump
and others if another insurrection occurs, and they are found to be the cause.

It seems many people who live in southern states feel leaders of the confederacy
should be held in esteem. In my opinion these so called hero's belong in private
museums, Not as statues or monuments in public parks. The confederacy is a dark
part of our history, and has no place in the public eye, much less celebrated.

If people wish to privately honor the confederacy, so be it, but they must realize
the confederacy lost the civil war, and  have no place other than in museums, and
left to history where it belongs.

If extremists  attempt to start another civil war, they may find themselves in prison
charged with treason when it's all said and done. I hardly think the generalpublic will
support such a stupid act. I am sure Trump would only do so if his side won.
If you think not, just remember where he was during the January 6 insurrection.
Hiding while his supporters did his dirty work. Trump is a coward through and
through, he wouldn't even risk getting a hangnail, much less be a part of any
attack. The sooner his supporters see Trump for what he really is the better for
us all.

It's shameful how snobbish the GOP is toward people they consider beneath  their
status in life. This country was created with equality in mind  if you believe the
constitutions, but it seems the GOP cares little for equality. Especially toward
people of color.

The followers of Trump should realize he cares nothing for them and looks down
on those he can't take advantage of. If Trump was able to gain autocratic power
he would leave his followers to fend for themselves. Just as he did on Jan 6.

It seems there is always people who let greed run their lives, and it seems many
of those who follow the GOP do. While it is true some people tend to be lazy
and are happy to let hard working people support them. The GOP often want the
public to be leave anyone who asks for government aid to be lazy and not
deserving of help. They know a lot of people think the worst of needy people and
like how the GOP talks about these people enough to  give them their vote. Then
when Democrats want to help the needy the GOP tells voters it's socialism, and
bad for the economy to help those people they call lazy. So many people who
really need aid go without so the GOP can cut taxes for their rich friends.

Not only does this harm the needy, but  by not putting money out to help them
the local economies suffer as well. Small businesses close, putting more people
out of work. Increasing the number of people needing help. Something I am sure
the GOP understands, but could care less about.

The GOP leaders are constantly looking for things their voters hate. After all being
a minority party, the GOP needs every vote they can get to hang on to power. So
they lie and cheat every chance they get to win more votes. The courts have had
to punish the GOP many times due to their inappropriate acts, but they continue
with their dirty tricks to win  votes. It's unfortunate that they are able to convince
people to vote for the party in numbers  that make it difficult to help make the
country a better place for us all. Instead of building a strong middle class, the
rich become even richer, while the majority becomes poorer.

This is why the GOP is working to limit voting by people of color. They know a
majority of these people fail to support the GOP. So if they can reduce the number
of opposition votes, it will help them hold power.

During Trump's time as president the GOP controlled U S Senate worked hard to
pack the federal courts with partisan judges. If the Democrats had tried this the
GOP would have been squealing like stuck pigs. Seems the GOP along with  the federalist society want to follow the constitution much as it was written.
So they want judges that follow this policy trying to prevent new ideas from making
changes they don't like. Sadly in reality only a minority is against these
changes. But to keep power the GOP leaders lie, and mislead people to get their
votes.

Changes are always difficult for many people to accept. The bad thing about
the GOP is they are using this slow acceptance as a way to hold on to power.
Another bad thing about this misuse of power is it prevents changes needed
to prevent climate  change. Also many people have been misled so they fail to
get vaccinated against covid19. Causing many to get sick, and some to die.

Personally I would rather they didn't get rid of the filibuster rule as by doing so
would let the GOP pass even more laws to allow corrupt acts by the rich. I would
rather they would return the rules requiring those who wish to filibuster so they
have to send hours on the floor of the senate talking. The way  it is now all they
have to  do is  just declare it, requiring 60 votes to end it.  I have a hunch it would
be much harder for the GOP to have a member talk for many hours just to prevent
passage of bills.

Across the nation shootings are increasing. More and more people are carrying
firearms, especially as GOP controlled states are passing laws to allow people to
publicly carry handguns. Even unlicensed, and no training with limited background
checks. Apparently in hopes to gain the GOP more votes.

Many people claim they want a firearm to protect themselves and family. The
problem I see is these firearms usually end up injuring and killing the very people
that buy them for protection. They rarely get used to protect the people who buy
them, Many people have little or no training in the proper use of firearms. So they
find out too late that the use of a firearm is more than pointing and pulling  the
trigger.

Seems the GOP has little interest in bipartisanship. It's their way or no way, or
perhaps I should say it's Trump's way or no way. We know the GOP is in his
pocket. They appear to be afraid to oppose anything he wants. I think they will find
his supporters like Trump more than those he supports. So far his support has
done little to help GOP members get elected.

Though Trump has large crowds at each of his rally, most if not all are hard core
supporters that travel great distances to hear him speak. I sometimes think Trump
believes he has more support than he really does. The GOP worked hard to keep
the crowds where ever he went to show him their full support. They know his
EGO demands it. So those who planned his trips made sure the crowds would be
large and friendly to him.

There are reports that Trump tried to get the military to keep him as president
during the days leading up to January 20. Just as Adolf Hitler  did when he took
over Germany in the 1930's. But our military would not give him their support.
Because our military is setup to not be political. They support the constitution not
-the political wishes of a president. I imagine since being commander in chief, Trump was sure the military would have to support his wishes.  But he soon
found out the  constitution outranks a president, much to  his dismay.

It appears GOP  governors are finally realizing how dangerous covid19 has
become, and are encouraging people to get vaccinated. Even in my state of
Missouri the governor has decided he must admit people need to use masks and
get vaccinated. Yet the GOP is still against mandates, so only time will tell
if they continue to be against mandates. People must realize not getting
vaccinated is more dangerous than the lies they see online. Not only refusing to be
vaccinated is a danger to others. Especially those who are not eligible  to be
vaccinated. People should wear masks even if they have been vaccinated to
to protect young children they might infect. The  covid19 virus is a pain, but to end
it requires all of us to work at protecting ourselves and others. If we don't this virus
will drag on for many years.

In the past society worked hard to rid humanity of diseases like smallpox and
polio. We did this by using mandates that required children to be  vaccinated
before entering school. Unfortunately false reports claiming these vaccinations
caused some diseases. So many people started to not get vaccines. Now with
the internet many more people are refusing vaccines. Putting themselves and us
all at risk. Seems for a time the GOP saw this as a chance to gain votes, but even
they are coming around and starting to incur-age people to use masks and to get
vaccinated. I fear it will be too late for many people, but it's good to hear the number
of people wanting vaccinations is growing. Now if we can get Trump  to support vaccines
it would be even better.

So far the GOP and Trump have been trying to call the invasion of the capital by
supporters of Trump some kind of love fest. According to testimony by capital
police the invaders were shouting they were there on Trump's orders. Also these
invaders were attacking, not loving anyone but Trump. It's strange how GOP
congressmen who were being protected by the police, are now misrepresenting
the police. Apparently trying to protect Trump their king. Just shows what some
GOP members of congress will do trying to hang on to political power.
-
A select committee will be investigating this January 6 insurrection  against the
U S capital. The GOP is trying to stop any investigation for fear it will keep them
from gaining control of the U S House and Senate in the 2022 mid term election.
So we can be sure any GOP member required to testify will attempt to drag their
feet so to speak. In the past GOP members have  successfully delayed showing
up for nearly 2 years. They know this select committee will be forced to end with
a new congress in 2023. So if they manage to regain the house in the mid term
election they can stop any investigation that might harm their chance to regain
the White House in 2024.

The sad thing is by using the filibuster rule, the GOP prevented a vote to create a
independent commission to investigate the January 6 insurrection. A commission
that would not be under congressional control. Instead  the GOP, possibly under
Trump's instruction made sure a non partisan independent commission would not
be  created. Apparently to protect the GOP, and Trump to hide any  connection there might be between them and the insurrection of January 6, 2021.

Another GOP member with Trump's support lost an election. More proof that
Trump's supporters generally fail to vote for people he tells them to. A big test of
this is the election of Trump's man as the governor  of Virginia in 2022.

We can be sure if Trump's man wins, Trump will make a big deal of it, and it's proof he can win in 2024. Of course if he fails, we can be sure Trump will claim it was another election that had to be rigged.  Trump had planned to claim this in
2016, but when he won he said nothing more about it.

Hopefully Trump's man loses because he was one of Trump's men during his time
in the White House, and will likely turn Virginia over to the far right to benefit

Trump.

People need to realize Trump cares nothing for anyone but himself. When
he speaks at a rally, he is nothing but a professional manipulator. Using his
ability to gain support with his lies. If Trump wasn't such a lazy lying coward, and
so self centered, he could have made a fairly reasonable president. But then he
wouldn't have been Trump. Everyone connected to Trump knows this of Trump, but
see him as a golden goose. They follow him hoping to use him for political
gain. Not  counting any golden eggs he might give them.

I think part of Trump's attraction is his money. People have a habit of chasing
rich people, with the hope some of their riches will rub off on  them. The sad thing
with Trump he is a loser who takes advantage of anyone that will listen to his lies. Then when they need him, just like all con artist he is gone.

I fear if he an the GOP regain power, this country could end up being an autocracy
with Trump as an autocratic leader. I am sure his followers would like to see this,
but will wish they never heard of Trump in the end. Because due to his ignorance,
he will hand the country over to his rich friends. People who care nothing for
anything but riches, no matter who they hurt getting richer and richer. Just
look at Russia if you wish to see where we are going. Trump would love to be the
first trillionaire, and like Putin of Russia he will force his rich friends
to give him much of their riches, and they won't be able to stop him.

Trump loved his power to pardon his friends, but what he really wanted was the
power to imprison those he didn't like. Especially his political enemies, and if he
gains autocratic power, that is just what he will do. The sad thing is many of his
supporters seem to think this would be a good thing. Well I have a hunch the first
time Trump put someone in jail they liked, their support would begin to disappear.
But by then it would be too late to stop Trump,  their lord and master.

The  only thing that kept him from keeping the White House is because the
military would not support his attempted take over, and if he becomes president
again. We can be sure he will do all he can to gain full control of the military. It's
control of the military that keeps all autocratic leaders in power, and I am sure
Trump's autocratic acquaintances have told him this.

The delta version of covid19 is spreading across the nation. Inspite of the
danger to the population of Florida and Texas, their GOP governors still refuse to
require the wearing of masks, and to get vaccinated against covid19. Especially
those in schools. Even though the virus is affecting younger people and more kids
every day.

It's not only Texas and Florida, Most GOP governors are afraid to require masks or
vaccines fearing it would cost them their next election. It apparently matters not
that it would save many lives, and improve the economy of their state. Their big
excuse is that it would be too hard to enforce. While some state governors are
telling their state populations to to get vaccinated and wear masks. They follow
saying only if people wish to  do so. So it's obvious they don't want their voters to
think it's a mandate.

It's very sad so many people don't trust the government when it comes to
vaccines. The one thing that can save people from the ravages of disease. It seams some people have to  experience sickness first, and It's especially bad
when children have to suffer from disease
due to politics.

Really makes me wonder what they are thinking. I realize that it's easier to control people who are angry or suffering. That is a historical fact. However it's easier to do when the entire population is suffering. Like in Germany in the 1930's. Not when your kid is in the hospital with a virus that could have been prevented. At the same time your vaccinated neighbor's kid is still happily playing video games. It's physiological. When a child is suffering a parent finds ways to blame them self. In this case it is their fault. And the next person to blame is the person who inspired them to take this action. Just what is the GOP thinking? And just when you think the GOP has killed off enough people there is now a new variant. Not enough info on the new variant. It does have a name. But as far as I'm concerned they should call it the 'Republican Variant'. Give them something else they can be proud of. And speaking of suffering there are two types of suffering happening in America right now. Those who are suffering and or dying from Covid. And the rest of us who are waiting for the rest of them to die off so we can get back to normal lives.

My fellow furries. This is the very first time in human history that a party in power has done their best to kill off their own supporters. In all of known history this has never happened before.

I found one! I found a world leader who killed millions of his own people. Mao Zedong. AKA Chairman Mao. Killed millions of Chinese and started the Peoples Republic of China.

Opps. Nothing like what we are facing. Chairman Mao murdered educated people, school teachers, collage professors. You know, the same people right wing media has called "dangerous" in the past.  We'll have to try again. The GOP is inspiring it's entire fan base to suffer or die. Not those who could appose them. They very people who support them, donate and vote for them. That is who the GOP is trying to kill off.

The only political leader who the Republican Party comes close to is Pol Pot of Cambodia. He took pleasure in taking pictures of himself killing thousands of people. Pol Pot. A true republican.

I am sure most of us  have seen news reports of the fires in the western U S, and
other parts of the world. Not only fires, but extreme weather  events attributed to climate change. If politicians fail to move our economy away  from energy that continues to increase global warming. Ocean levels will rise and  flood coastal cities and many coastal areas. Not only that warming may increase faster than predicted if we don't make changes very soon. We could see rises
in temperatures that could kill millions  by2050.

It seems the governors of Florida and Texas have no plan to mandate masks
or vaccines for schools. Apparently expecting this will help them stay in office. They best   hope children don't start dying in large numbers or their names will
likely be mud.

19 GOP senators, including moscow Mitch voted to pass an infrastructure bill.
So I wonder how much steam was coming out of Trump's ears when he heard
how many GOP senators failed to follow his orders. It's going to cost him a lot
to primary every senator that failed to listen to him.

President Biden signed a bill giving the Medal of Honor to the police that defended
the nations capital and our senators and representatives on January 6. These
people risked their lives to defend our democracy, and fully deserve our deepest
thanks.

The GOP continues to attack voting rights across the nation. It's not just black
people they  want to keep from voting. The GOP is becoming so afraid of losing
power they no longer run on policies, and have turned almost entirely to voter
suppression, and the courts for government control of laws.

I fear the last census will make it even easier for the GOP to impose even more
gerrymandering throughout this decade. The use of this to separate voters in GOP
controlled states is virtually draconian, by limiting the number of minority votes to
keep them from electing representative members to state and federal legislatures.

GOP controlled courts have failed to prevent such use of gerrymandering by the
GOP, and are not likely to limit such use in the near future. This is the  vary
reason the GOP is  packing federal courts with judges that favor the GOP.
It seems the GOP are working to destroy our democracy, so they can as an
minority can take over the country for their own purposes that appear to favor
wealthy white  heterosexual evangelical males. So if your a female and a member
of the LGBTQ, and many other minorities, it's likely your rights will be lost each time the far right wants them removed.

This is why those of us who believe in human rights must vote, and let our
members of congress know how we feel. If we don't, and our democracy is lost, we
will have no say in how we are treated.

It's interesting that those who support Trump claim it's their right to choose that
they are defending, so they should be defending democracy, not a self centered
man who cares nothing for them, except for the power he hopes to gain. A power
he can use to in slave us all.

Fortunately gerrymandering only work to gain seats in lower houses of
government. So Democrats can still win senate seats and governorship in spite
of the dirty work of the GOP. If we can keep the GOP from electing governors
and gaining senate control, the GOP will be limited on how much harm they can
do to our democracy.

The GOP is finger pointing again. They use any error or mistake by Democrats
as an excuse to place blame on them, but when the GOP mess up they run and hide, or just ignore questions that relate to their mistakes, and try to change the subject  to something the Democrats did wrong.  I have seen this many times, when a  reporter asks a GOP politician a question that might require an
imbairassing answer. The politician starts making a speech about how great his
party is.   While this is true with many politicians, it is much more common with the GOP, and often times they  don't even show up for an interview unless the reporter
favors the GOP.

It's darned if you do and darned if you don't.
I think the tragic events in Afghanistan would have occurred no matter who was
president. With Trump it likely would have been worse as he was ready to turn
Afghanistan over to the Talivan anyway, and since that crowd never keeps it's
promises, it would have ended up the same or worse because Trump would have
offered them almost anything trying to benefit himself. I understand Trump told
them they could come to camp David to sign a cease fire agreement if they wished. That would have been a security nightmare due to Trump's ignorance.
Because he seemed to think as president he only needed  to say do it, and that's
is all there is to it, because the needs of others means little or nothing to him.

Apparently ISIS K has set off an explosive near the airport in Kabul Afghanistan.
This has turned a mess into a probable disaster for those trying to evacuate
Americans and others from Afghanistan. Once we are out it's likely China is going
to offer military aid to the Talivan. This could create another situation much like
North Korea. Adding threats to any democracy in the Middle East. Governments
of China and Russia  among others are pushing to rid the world of democracies
in favor of Autocracies.

If we wished to pull out completely, we should have kept control of those military
bases we created till every one who wished to leave did so, then go without any
warning.

This mess was started by Trump, and should have stopped when Biden took over. There wasn't any reason to  hand the country over to the Talivan. The only reason
Trump and the far right wanted to do so, apparently thought it would get the U S
out quicker. I very much doubt that Trump or the far right cared who got out except
the military. If we leave these thousands to the tender mercies of the Talivan, we
will find it much harder to gain civilian support where we fight wars in the future.

Hopefully the GOP will fail to regain the senate and the house of representatives
next year. Because if they do, we can expect a series of hearings designed to make the Democrats look bad, and a possible impeachment of president Biden
over the mess in Afghanistan. This wouldn't go any where, but the GOP are going to do all they can to win back  the White house in 2024.

If they regain total control  of the government, we will see the loss of rights for
women, minorities, handicapped, elderly, and the LGBTQ.  This includes voting rights and the rights to assemble in the streets to fight for our rights. The radical
far right want to do away with democracy in favor of an autocracy where they can
run the country as they see fit.

These people will use religion as an excuse to enforce their radical beliefs on us
-all. They want to return to the early days of the20th century where women, and the needs of the disadvantaged were ignored. They have no interest in social
issues, much less government concern for the poor. They want social aid to be
limited to private charities, and not government.

The GOP can deny global warming, but weather extremes due to warmer temps
continue around the world. Hurricane IDA  is just the last example. If we continue
to elect these greedy idiots, our children will pay in the not to distant future.

Over 90% of those hospitalized for covid19 haven't been vaccinated. In most
cases these people could have been vaccinated, but decided to put themselves
and others at risk by refusing vaccinations.

If your wondering if I  have been vaccinated, I have, and I wear a mask when I am
out around other people, mostly for their protection. Yes wearing a mask is a pain,
but we all must work to stop this pandemic.

GOP members apparently have no shame with their finger pointing. Moscow Mitch and
his cronies are trying to put blame on president Biden for the ISIS K bombing.
This is shameful with fallen soldiers arriving home. It's time the country stands
together, and not placing blame much less the GOP playing politics.

The GOP used to be patriotic, but no more. It's all about themselves, and the
power they can gain. It appears the party has been taken over by white
supremacist who have no interest in social issues much less the needs of
minorities.

If the radicals of the GOP gain even more control of the party, we can expect an
even greater loss of rights for minorities. Not only that, but some of the misled
radicals may commit attacks, thinking  it shows support for leaders. Just like the
followers of ISIS have done. Anytime a radical group gains power there will be
followers who will do terrible things in support of the group. I fear we will see more
of this if the GOP continues to gain power.

It appears the far right radicals of the GOP have made it all but impossible to get
an abortion in Texas. The GOP controlled legislature have passed a law allowing
any citizen in Texas to sue anyone who provides or assists women to have an
abortion who is 6 weeks pregnant. The supporters of this law know it's very
difficult for a doctor to tell if a woman is pregnant prior to 6 weeks.

I have a hunch this bounty hunter law is going to overload the justice system
because once people figure out that they can sue just about any transportation
system for assisting women wanting an abortion, and get paid to do it. There will
be loads of  lawsuits by people out to get rich. This will likely include buses, taxis,
uber drivers, friends, and relatives of women suspected of being pregnant and out to
get an abortion. Even though most will be thrown
out each suit will have to be
looked at by a judge. Those not thrown out will take hours if not days to adjudicate.

The supreme court could have prevented the enforcement of this law, but several
of the justices are personally against abortion, so they refused to block the law.
The Democrats should expand the supreme court to make it harder for these self
righteous justices to misuse their powers. They should be impeached for making
judgments based on personal beliefs. But it would be virtually impossible to
get the GOP to  support any impeachment of a conservative justice.

Personally I am not in favor of abortion,  but it's not my place to tell a woman
when she should have a baby, much less the state. The hypocrites who claim they
are trying to protect the unborn, often forget about the child once born, by failing
to support food and health programs for needy children.

In the future when science has developed the means to move a fetus to an
artificial womb, or a surrogate. Then laws to protect the unborn would be much
more valid. Until then such laws punish women to protect the beliefs of a hard
right minority.  The sad thing  is it mainly affects the poor as the rich can travel to
--avoid such laws when the poor cannot.

The GOP has a habit of punishing people for being poor. Allowing women who
can afford to avoid this law shows how hypocritical the GOP is. I am sure if the
truth was known, they don't want to punish women for getting an abortion to
protect their rich friends, and even women they personally have sex with. Otherwise they would allow the justice system to charge women for having
abortion. After all it's women who want abortions, not doctors or other medical
practitioners.

When Trump was running for the office of president, he was asked if he felt
women should be punished for having abortions, and he said yes. However soon
after he changed his mind. Apparently because the GOP told him it would likely
cost him millions of votes.

The GOP have been using abortion and other things that largely only affect the
poor for many years to aid them in winning elections. This disgusting treatment of
the poor should cost them elections instead. Sadly many religious leaders mislead
their followers so they will support the GOP. After all most religions
support helping the poor, in spite of the GOP's wishes.

Sadly the age old fear that immigrants will take power away from white people
continues each time there is a large  number of immigrants entering the country.
Then of course the GOP climbs on this band wagon with  hopes to  use it to
get more support from voters. The GOP has no shame when it comes to using
peoples fears to get more votes. They consistently do this for most anything they
think will gain them support. Now with Trump's help along with far right extremist
they are using gangster style  threats and lies with the hope to cover up the bad
behavior of their party and that of big business.

It's unfortunate, but since most republicans are politically more active than
Democrats, they often win elections even though they are in the minority. Due to
this they are able to pass laws that only have minority support. Not only that
they generally support the rich and big corporations who help them win elections.
This help often hurts the poor and disadvantaged who can't afford to stand up
to big money concerns.

The 2020 election  has sent chills through the GOP as many more people voted.
The GOP knows their hold on power depends on a low voter turnout. So over
the past several months GOP controlled  states have made voting more difficult
especially for minority voters. It was these voters who help Biden become president.  Much
to the dismay of Trump and the GOP.

The Delta variant of covid19 continues to rage across the nation. Sadly this and
other issues is hurting the presidents popularity. Seems when there are problms \
people are ready to blame the people in power, when many times it's their own
fault. I am sure some would say they didn't start wars,  but their vote can put
people inn power that can start them.

People chose Trump with the hope of change. They failed to believe he is a self
centered man who wishes to take permanent control of the country. He still plans
to turn the country into an autocracy with him as an autocratic leader. If he manages to return to  power, he will do all he can to become an autocrat with the
GOP as the one and only party controlling the country. If this was to happen we
would lose the right to decide how we are treated by the  government.

We thought we had a senate controlled by the Democrats, but sadly two fake
Democrats showed up. One from west virginia and the other from Arizona. Due
to this president Biden has been limited on legislation in the senate. These two
senators aren't republicans, but their lack of support is allowing the GOP to stop
needed legislation.  Voting rights and has put limits on the infrastructure bill.
Also is preventing any change to the filibuster rules. We can only wonder why this
senator from west virginia is failing to support the president. He claims he is
against increasing the national debt, but is he being bribe or under threat to  help
the GOP? All I can say is he should lose his senate seat to a real Democrat during
his next run for office. It would be good if the same could happen in Arizona as
well.

If voters don't remove the current GOP leaders from power, we could see the end
of our democracy in a few years. Some evangelical leaders preach that the
country was started with the support of GOD. These people need to study
their American history. This country was started by people wanting religious
freedom. Not to support any one religious group. Still if it was left to some groups
the country would be under religious control. Much like some of the countries of
the middle east.

The governor of Texas just signed a voting restriction law. Good news for all the conspiracy theorists everywhere!!! Now what are they going to do if they still lose? It's a joke. Everything on that bill is a joke. Everything. Even the laws making mail in voting harder. Every bit of that bill is an absolute joke.

President Biden is trying to get more people vaccinated. This isn't going to be easy
as many GOP supporters consider vaccinations a political ploy. Not only that
many people no longer trust the government, that and would rather believe the
lies they see on the internet.  It's a shame people use the internet to prevent
needed vaccinations thatt can help put an end to this pandemic.

After the presidents speech the GOP and far right  went nuts claiming he did not
have the right  to force people to be vaccinated. Well surprise surprise, yes he and
the government does have the  right to protect people from the nay sayeres of our
country. This is why we have seat belts in cars, and why vaccinations are required
for children entering schools. This is why OSHA requires businesses to provide
safety for workers. All to protect the public from those who care nothing for others
if it costs them money. The idea that the GOP cares so little for people, even for
those who would likely vote for them. This isn't new they opposed Medicare, with
claims it would harm the country.

Over the years a number of people have decided vaccinations cause more
disease than they prevent. Sadly these people are using the internet to mislead
the public. Trying to turn people away from the vaccinations that can save their
lives. To date over 650,000 people have died from covid19, yet people still want
to mislead the public about this disease.

Sadly many people end up sick in a hospital before they are willing to believe
covid19 is a real disease that can kill. Due to this many people  suffer needlessly
from covid19. No longer is this a disease that mostly affects the elderly. Now
almost a third of those getting sick are young people, and teenagers. The delta
variation of covid19 is much more likely to infect children than the original virus.
So the need for masks and vaccines is even greater no matter what the GOP claims.

If Democrats acted anything like the GOP, the republicans would be claiming
the Democrats care nothing for the people of this country. If Trump had been a
Democrat, the GOP would have tried to impeach him during his first year in
office. If Democrat governors treated the people of their states the way GOP
governors have, they all would be up for recall elections. If there was evidence
the Democrats had any thin to do with the January 6 attack on the U S capital the
GOP would be trying to remove them from office in stead of trying to  cover up
their own involvement.

This isn't the first time in American history where the GOP has tried to take
singular control of the country. This could mean the demise of the party if the
people realize the GOP is out to get rid of our federal system in favor of a
autocratic dictatorship.

The sad thing about Trump is he doesn't care about his supporters. Oh he
pretends to care, but if he was to become an autocratic dictator these supporters
would suddenly find Trump's support for them gone. Trump decided to blame the
current president for leaving high tech hardware in Afghanistan. This is totally
hypocritical because he was getting ready to do the very same thing on May 1 if he
had been re elected. Also the hardware we left behind was rendered useless and
if would be very difficult and expensive to make the high tech equipment useful
again. Much less the training needed to  operate it.

The terrible thing about  his speech is it was more about him than those who have
suffered over the last 20 years since 9-11. His speeches always follow this line. It's
always about him and the fantasy of his greatness. Sadly his supporters continue
to see Trump as the nations savior. When in reality Trump cares nothing about
anyone, but himself.  If the GOP foolishly nominate Trump to run for president
again, and loses, we can be sure he will attempt to claim it was stolen from him
once again, because he hates to lose, much less admit it.  He is claiming  the GOP
recall loss in California  was due to voter fraud, even though the loss was
nearly 2 to one.  It seems the GOP plans to claim voter fraud even when the loss is big.
In reality the only time voter fraud would have any validity is in a close election,
not in a virtual landslide.

I think most republicans have unfortunately been misled by Trump and other GOP
leaders who are more interested in power and money, than what is good for the
people of the U S A.  Now the GOP leadership is trying to hide the far right
violence that Trump instigated against the nations capital on January 6 with hopes
of turning the Novamber election to his favor. This black lie by Trump and the GOP
is up against video that proves the violence in spite of their lies.

White supremacist fear the loss of political power across the nation. So they are
trying to keep what power they have by lying to their supporters. Not only that, but
in states they control, they are passing laws they hope will keep the Democrats
from winning elections that will cost the far right the power they have.

This is why we must vote to remove these cowards from seats of power, or we
risk the loss of our democracy. Democrats are far from being perfect, but at least
they care more for the needs of people than the current GOP leadership does. A
leadership that supports the rich, fearing the poor will drag down the country that is
helping themselves and the rich get richer.

So they tell their supporters only they can keep the country and economy strong
because the Democrats are only interested in giving money to the lazy poor
and taxing the hard working rich people to cover the cost. They don't want to talk
about how little these so called hard working rich people actually pay in taxes. Sadly

only the rich will benefit from Trump's control of the GOP. Trump's promises to
the
average republican, mostly end up being lies. I fear by the time his supporters
realize they are being sold a song and dance filled with lies it will be too late to
stop Trump's GOP from taking over the country.

Now the GOP is claiming all these immigrants are only here to help the Democrats
win elections. Because the Democrats want to take control from the good honest
GOD fairing white majority. It is so sad that to please Trump the GOP will tell one
lie after another. This voting claim by immigrants is nothing but a lie designed
to scare republican voters with the hope they will vote in larger numbers. Because

to vote you must be a citizen of the country, and it often  takes  years for a legal
immigrant to become a citizen in spite of GOP lies.

Minority leaderMoscow Mitch made the claim that the GOP would not
vote to raise the U S debt ceiling. This claim is nonsense, because it would
basically
shut down the government
once the spending limit was reached. Something the GOP would not want on their
head. In reality the debt ceiling should
be raised high enough to stop this nonsense of having to raise the ceiling so
often. Because politicians will never want to vote to shut down the country anyway.

Yes a favorable result for Trump was expected
to please their lord Trump and his followers. I
understand the result has been called into question
already by the attorney General. Also other GOP states
plan to have election reviews of their own. They will
run into legal trouble if they try the same thing.

It would appear the GOP is willing to let the government partly be shut down in
stead of voting for the presidents budget. We can be sure they will blame him in
stead of doing their job. They don't care if the U S credit rating drops, increasing
interest costs for the country. Just shows their complaints about the national debt
is a bunch of lies.  Past actions show they only worry about the national debt
when it makes them look good. Otherwise they don't care at all.

The GOP governor of Texas seems to want to be a Trump clone. Working hard
to limit voting, stop abortion by the poor, immigration, and anything else to please
the GOP's lord and master  Trump.

Now just about every other GOP governor is wanting to copy the Texas governor
to please the lord and master Trump. A man who really does want to be a lord over
the nation. Not only that he wants to create a Trump dynasty so his oldest son can
replace him when he decides to retire.

Indo China has long been an interest  of France. So it's no wonder that France is
upset because they weren't included in talks about the defense of the area. It's not
just sales of submarines to Australia that upset them, even though they should
have been invited to share in any decision. Especially since they have been close allies
of ours since the founding of our country.

So the conspiracy backed count backfired. Now they are trying to say this count didn't count. Even funnier is the idea that other states are looking into doing the same thing. Just how many times does a guy want to loose? The only thing they can go on now is to claim even the re counts are rigged. How? Deny the fact that it was a conspiracy backed Trump praised organization that did the count. Make it sound as if this Trump praised stunt was actually done by the democrats. Everyone saw that coming.

Let's look at this in a different light. It may be an attempt by the republican party to prove Trump lost. Let Trump pic who's doing the count. Because everyone knows Trump is smarter than everyone. He will know who will do the count right.  Folks, both sides of the political news spectrum are blowing things way out of proportion. Even CNN is faulting like a lawn mower running out of gas on this. Sensationalism hurts this country. Doesn't matter who side your on. Fear based broadcasting does nothing but destroy the lives of those who are watching. Treat all "expert" opinions as nothing more than farting in the wind.

Looks like other republican messes are being cleaned up as well. Teachers and school officials who defied republican mandates are receiving back pay.

Apparently the republican party loves to loose.  :D

Republicans are shooting themselves in the foot when they enact voting suppression laws. It can hurt whites just as much as blacks or hispanics.

The GOP continue to claim non white votes aren't legitimate, and shouldn't be
counted.  I have said this in the past, the GOP is working to prevent election
losses in the future. Their rich supporters fear wins by Democrats mean
higher
taxes. Not only that, but loss of loop holes in the tax code that could cost them
millions in taxes they currently avoid paying.

Not only that Democrats could change laws to make it harder for the GOP to
do their dirty work. This would make it much harder to harm their
opponents
politically as well.

If Democrats don't take this attack by the GOP seriously, the
GOP just might win permanent control of the country which would allow them to
pass all kinds of crazy laws. Many would likely take rights away from the poor,
handicapped and all minorities except themselves and the rich. Yes The GOP is in
the minority, about 30% of voters. Without support from non republicans they would
have little control. It's unfortunate so many feel the need to support the GOP. Otherwise
the GOP radicals couldn't do much more than make noise.

Trump is claiming executive  privilege, but since he isn't president any more. only
president Biden can give Trump protection, and he isn't inclined to give it unless
deserved.  I am sure Trump wants to hide his activities as president, just as he
does for  almost every thing he does. Even as a private citizen. During Trump's
presidency, he has fauglt nearly all attempts by congress to investigate his
activities as president or the White House. I am sure he will attempt to stop the release  to congress, but will likely fail.

The GOP is being taught con artistry by Trump. Which is never tell the truth when
ever a lie can be used. Also defend authority figures, no matter how bad they are.
By  blaming  those they harm.  Now the GOP is apparently being told to not
vote to cover the national debt, claiming it should be up to the Democrats to do
because they spent the money. Well the national debt is the business of
government, not a political party as the GOP claims. So if the debt ceiling fails to
be raised, every member of congress or the senate who fails to vote to raise the
debt should be held responsible for any trouble this causes the nation. Of course
the GOP want to blame the Democrats for any and all problems the GOP can
create. In my  opinion this kind of politics is un American, and puts our economy
and country at an unnecessary risk.
