It's been awhile since I've updated this so here's one x3
As of today. My family now have a puppy! :D






Her name is Suki and she's an Alaskan Malamute. Currently 8 weeks old :) We've been told by the breeder she was pretty much the Alpha female of the 11 puppies the breeder had and is very inquisitive so we're expecting a handful =3 So far we have discovered she loves attention and having a tummy rub so that's a good start =P

I've also got a job now finally! 9 months of unemployment and now I'm basically doing what I used to do (Flash development) except I'm working with planes not ships this time x3 Massive advantage to this job over my old one is I get to work at home for it! :D (My friends all hate me for this lol) This means I can still keep an eye on here and Syi can keep an eye on the IRC so no causing trouble  ;)

As it stands that's pretty much it. 9 months of unemployment has meant I couldn't do much and I've done nothing but job hunt and worry about money x_x Now I don't have to do either of those and can play with a puppy during work breaks (:

That is a really cute puppy!

Malamutes are great dogs.  Just remember that they get to be a good size dog,  and they're amazingly strong for their size.  You have to train them how you want them to act later,  now.  I have a Mal, and you're right... they can be a real handful,  and high maintenance,  but they're great with people,  great with kids,  and very smart dogs.

To help celebrate this momentous occasion of Weisseman getting a Malamute puppy, I hereby give this Okapi plush to young Suki as a Welcome gift for her to tear, shred, rip, and just general play with as all young puppies are want to do with new toys.  :D Enjoy!

We've met most of the family from her line (Up to great grandma) and all have fantastic temperaments and know exactly how door handles work x3

I'm slightly disturbed that  Liedt didn't seem to mind the purpose of the plush (to be shreded and biten), and is more concerned on getting a copy of said plush instead of investigating about possible ungulate attack dog training...

LOL  of course not.  It won't be HIS plush that is getting shredded!  I would love to have one of those as well.  Both actually.  The malamute AND the plush!  But my dogs don't get to shred my helpless plushies. :)

Speaking of puppies, at the MFF last weekend, they had a number of puppies at the "Castaways" charity. When I was walking past in my Okapi fursuit, I had to stop and play with a few of them that were in the same pen. Somehow, as soon as I walked up, no one else around them mattered. All three came running up to me and all three were biting and pulling on my hoof (hand) as I was trying to pet them. The crowd was loving it how 3 dogs where ganging up and trying to take down the Okapi. I think a couple people took pictures, I'd love to see them.
