I've finished uni so I graduate in a few months, I get to move out of a house I hate, and I am currently staying with my mate.

I wanted to congratulate my daughter, Shelby, AKA ArticShadow on her 8th grade graduation last night! Tomorrow, she leaves for Washington DC (sadly without her tail - not allowed).

She's made her mommy VERY proud!! :)

well done, skills like this are vital for car owners. too many people out there that cannot change a tire.
not an issue these days but other good skills to have is knowing how to to check the oil, water and other fluids and being able to diagnose minor issues with old cars (pre 95) on a wet day  in my humble opinion.

anyway...well done :D

Agreed. Whenever I go back home to visit my parents, I ask my dad to teach me something about looking after a car.

Well...I might as well post here since I now have something to post. Although I am as sick as a dog, ironic huh being as I am a doggie, I finally developed an idea on how to extend my current novel in progress, Project Tango, into a series. I now have Project Foxtrot! I not only have a way to link the two stories together that makes sense, but also it turns out I unknowingly put foreshadows of the linking between the two novels in Project Tango! :D Yay, something finally worked for me.

Strange how things come in sets in my life. Something good cant happen without something bad. This time though, the excitement over my Novel overshadows the fact that I am sick during finals week and still have to attend school since I can't make up a final. :P Yay for art! :)

My 1986 VW Jetta beater project car is a runner! Got to love an ugly car, that one can sit on the hood with no worries, that gets over 30 MPG! :D

Went to my local model club meeting today where we had our annual Model Kit Auction to raise funds for our club. Went fairly well and we raised a little over $1100 for our club which will go toward future club activities. :) After the auction, myself and other members celebrated at a local tavern for dinner.

Some friends and I looked at a rather nice house, and we have decided to rent it :3 We sign the contract in the next week or two. Best part is, we can move in at the start of July, so I'm only going to be homeless for a week or two rather than the expected several months.
