IT'S DRY
Bear your soul and take control
If the wolves are howling outside your door
Invite them in and make them beg for more!

Mid 20's right now. Snow is expected for tonight and tomorrow. Possibly up to about 6 inches, but we'll see.

Chilly but dry. I expect it to warm up in the next couple days, but get wetter.

Got up to 6" inches of snow last night. Mostly cloudy today with temps in the 20's. No sledding for this husky. I'll be indoors staying warm. :)

Our meager 3" of snow is melting fast due to warm winds.  Soon I will have a mud back yard...  FUN!

Snowing here. I don't expect it to be much. Maybe 3" or less.

First we got ice. Now it's snowed on top of the ice. Glad I can stay home today.

Started out cold and dry with light overcast. Light snow this afternoon followed by wet snow/freezing rain.

Mist and near-freezing temps all day causing slick driving conditions.

We finally got measurable snow here, as is evidenced by all the accidents...<sigh>
Maybe 4" in spots, mostly less.  Slight wind at maybe 5 mph, and humidity is ?? because I do not have a hydrometer anymore.
Pressure is whatever it is, because I can't control it, otherwise  I would make it stable pressure because it makes me hurt when pressure drops.
Temperature is about 23F and I know that because I own a point and shoot IR thermometer.
I need to get a new weather station someday.

It's 33f with fog and drizzle. And still as the grave outside. This is the type of weather that has me coming inside and smiling at my thermostat!

-3F and lightly snowing right now. Debating hiking today or tomorrow. Tomorrow it's supposed to be about -30F (that's not a typo) but it might warm up to -23 in the afternoon (before plunging to -33 a few hours later)... I'll probably hike today.  :P

Varg, ever think of getting a treadmill and staying inside?  :D

33F outside 57F inside. Looks like I'll have to drag out the kerosene heater until I can get the furnace fixed.

It was cold and dry for the weekend here in mid-Michigan. A little bit of snow yesterday and enough wind to push it onto roads in spots--especially driveways--causing icy slick areas. Saw a car in a ditch this morning.

MAJOR cold snap for a large portion of the U.S. this weekend and all next week.  :o  Going to be anywhere from single digits to teens during the day, and probably -10 or lower at night. Get those long john's, blankets, and hot chocolate ready, folks. ;)

I've been told this by my mom as well as my apt. manager in the past: If you live in a place with low/bad insulation and/or other heating problems, keep the cabinet doors under your kitchen and/or bathroom sink open to allow any potential heat to circulate under there so your pipes don't freeze. If you can't keep the doors open due to children or pets due to safety reasons, then please confer with friends or other people for alternative solutions.

Back in texas when it would get down below freezing temps we would turn the taps on to slowly drip or trickle just a tad in order to keep some water flowing which keeps the pipes from freezing over.

I asked my housemate how they handle it here in colorado and seems some homes have a furnace that keeps the pipes warm. I've also seen folk selling pipe insulation and even pipe warmers here.

Cold? What is this "cold" you speak of? Never heard of it.

Goes outside in below zero temps while wearing fursuit. Goes grocery shopping while in fursuit. Goes to the mall while in fursuit. Takes a walk in the park while in fursuit.

Nice and toasty warm.  :D  :D  :D
