Inventions you like or dislike.

List an invention that you are grateful for, and then list one you wish never was made.

I will start.

I am grateful for the invention of the shoe. I have tender paws.
I wish the light bulb was never made because it just makes me work more

I am grateful for the invention of the internal combustion engine because I love the sound of V8s.

I wish the invention of the nuclear bomb never happened.

If we can call science an invention then that.
The flat out arrogance of science. They don't admit they got it wrong. They say things like,"That shouldn't exist"

I like air conditioning, a godsend for those sticky humid days. However, the thought of Pumpkin Spice Spam makes me cringe.

I am grateful for cat box filler (bentonite clay) as my cat has somewhere to go and for model rocket motor nozzles made from it.

I dislike Vic's Vapo-Rub as it's quite pungent.

Grateful for washing machines.
Not thrilled about screws that use the standard slotted screw driver

I have taken the microwave oven for granted as I use one almost every day. Meal prep no longer a ordeal. A hot breakfast in under two minutes!

Combustion engines. Imagine how it would be if everything was still by horse drawn wagons.

I too hate greedy printers!

I like the digital camera, fast, high quality, no chemicals. No film needed.

I like the folding pocket knife, especially when it's a miniature tool kit. Not a fan of beep-locking, especially after 10 PM.
