I made this thread to see how much interest there'd be for another run of Furtopia shirts.
Kobuk talked about the previous shirt runs (http://forums.furtopia.org/index.php?topic=42061.msg847691#msg847691) a bit in this post:
There are no more Furtopia tshirts. Sorry. There were only 2 runs of them. Once back in 2004 or 2005, and the other maybe in 2007 or 2008 I think. Whether or not there'd be a third run of them depends on how many furs wanted one and if the interest is strong enough. I'd have to discuss with WhiteSheperd on if he'd want to do another shirt run in the future.
Though interest in a shirt run isn't the only prerequisite to having one (the other one, as far as I can tell, is an OK from WhiteShepherd, which is still pending), it is nevertheless an important one; there will probably not be a shirt run unless there's enough interest to warrant one.
This (http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn53/d-vious/100_1669-1.jpg) is a picture Dusty posted of himself wearing the shirt at the conclusion of the last shirt run; it's the best image of the shirt I was able to find. If you would be interested in chipping in for a shirt like this, please voice your interest here.

I will probably contact WS either Weds. or Thurs. night on this issue. In order to get shirts made, We're talking money and time. And also the fact that screen printers need a "minimum order" before they can print something. What the shirts would cost is unknown until WS is contacted and a quote can be gotten from a screen printer.

I actually would love a shirt. Sadly. I am broke. If I were to get one, it would have to wait a while till I get a job hopefully, or at least set up my PayPal account and start getting money on that thing. Unless of course... They are for free! :D But I seriously doubt that. :P Whatevers...

If there was another shirt run, they'd be in black or a very, very dark blue, like what has been done for past shirt runs. I doubt the Furtopia logo would look good on a yellow background. :P

Maybe. But it depends on cost. Any additional designs or "extras" will raise the cost of a shirt.

This would be awesome if this actually went forward. I do have a PayPal account, and if there is a shirt run, I'll be getting one in a size small. It even has your name on it? o.o That's pretty swell! Also, I have no preference with color...I have all different color shirts anyway. If there's anything I can do to help, please let me know! ;)

Don't suppose we can have some idea of measurements for the shirts? Sadly, I'm incredibly small and often find it difficult to get clothes that fit me properly.

I'm a bit in this same boat, but a Medium would probably be my pick, as it is the safest option in size for me.
I'd definitely be interested in getting in on this (will cast my vote here in a sec). I know prices may vary due to interest, but will there also be a portion of that which goes to support the site itself? I'd be willing to pay an extra $5 knowing it was going to support the site. Though I also don't want the price to get so high that it ends up leaving some people out who want it.

I'm not sure, but I think some portion did go toward helping this site continue. I'll ask WS when I can. He's the only one who would know for sure.

When I get the chance I will let WS know about this thread and he can throw in his 2 cents worth. I know in the past we needed to get small - 5 x's. I think the majority of sizes wanted last time were the 2 x's.
Years ago I did add the members name to the T's at no cost but haven't gotten my machine to work correctly since doing those. :(
I think it would be great to do another run of T-shirts. Especially if there is more interest.

The system didn't give me any problems about adding 5XL as an option. It seems that editing a poll by default adds a single blank for an additional poll option (which is what you used to add the 4XL option), and if you want to add more options after the first additional one in the same edit, you have to click the text "(Add Option)" to the right of the last text field on the page.
...I should probably mention that I'm a size XL. I already voted in the poll, but didn't mention my shirt size in a post yet.

Do we not have an option to let people change their votes? If we do, you could just switch to the top 'no' option. I know some forums do allow vote changing. Then again, I don't seem to see the option for myself, so...

Thank you for the advice. I did click the "(Add Option)" and it still only gave me one slot. Either the 4xl or the 5xl. :( Oh well. Probably the one that created the vote will need to add the extra slots.

We are in the process of talking to Shim's mom about shirts first and then possibly the other items we will look into.

If this pans out we will ask for a PM with the size of shirt, how many and the mailing address and I will put all that in a database.

Just to ask, what sizes do the shirts translate in to? For instance, over here a women's small is often somewhere around a 10. Being on the small side, I prefer to know exactly what sze things are because otherwise I'd have to go find somewhere to take them in for me.

The staff are still discussing shirt options, designs, costs, etc. We haven't forgotten this topic. Just be advised that this whole shirt issue may take awhile (Weeks) as there are many variables for staff to consider:
* Where they will be made.
* Who will make them.
* How many shirts to order and for what sizes.
* Silk screening vs. transfers vs. other options.
* Design of logo and colors.
* How much it will cost to make the shirts, and how much to charge members.
........etc., etc., etc.

I don't want to show/discuss the new design yet to the regular members because the staff aren't quite sure yet if we'll use it or not. Once staff discussions are finished, then I might make an annoucement. You'll just have to be patient. ;)
