Hope you get to feeling better Jade.

Just wanted to update on the circus act. I don't condone management correcting an employee in front of his or her peers. This is something that, at all times, should be done privately. However there is a part of me that's smiling from ear to ear. My face.  My boss, my bosses boss and my bosses bosses boss,  at the sane time, confronted and warned Mr circus. They did it directly in front of the very people he was berating and lying about me to. I continued my normal interaction with everyone in my department. I avoided Mr circus.

What grinds my gears? Amazon's search engine. They give you the option of searching by price. Without choosing that option. "This is .99". Choose the $5 option. "You can buy five of these .99 for $5." Choose the $10 option. You can buy 10 of these .99 for $10. "  >:(

I hope to celebrate my birthday this weekend.   Yea me.
I'm old.
I just don't want to work.
Maybe I'll paw off a lot or something.  IDK.
Too bad that is broke, just like my spirit.
Maybe I'll just loaf.

Use fish-net stocking material for the curtains,  use faux fur pillows,  deep shaggy carpet.  Just need a leg- lamp.

I'm watching my cold get worse,  banks fail,  and my dog get cranky.  I love it

Working with someone who wont admit to his own mistakes. Worst yet. Deliberately done. He not only got into my face when I confronted him. But he spent a good fifteen to twenty minutes telling others how wrong I was and what type of person I am. So I talked to management. Management came and talked to him. Told him upper management will review the video footage in the morning. Funny, the guy had nothing to say after that. If someone makes a mistake it's no big deal. Admit to it and life goes on. Even if your going to lie about it don't turn it into a circus.

I know what I'll be doing this weekend. And I know know why I'll be doing what I'll be doing this weekend. Found out what the problem is with this plumbing project. ME! Yep. I bought the wrong size pipes. The good news is I still have all the usable pipes I took off. I'll still have to find a few things to complete this project. I can't return what i bought. They've all been open and it's plumbing. Someone will eventually need it. Until then all of it will rest nicely in a box in the basement. With the rest of my 'what was I thinking' stuff.

Jade  :D Faux fur actually came up in a few of the on line stores I was searching threw. People use it to make throws and pillows. Kinda jokingly thought about it. However it would be a bit unpractical. First would be the weight on a curtain rod that's over eight feet long. Then the amount of light it would block when closed. Faux fur with a bead curtain. Give my living room a real 1960's hippy look.  :D Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Hey Cause, are you contemplating using faux fur?

I'm being ill at the moment.  It's the only way I get a day off.

Finally breaking down and thinking seriously about making new drapes for the living room. Going to need 18+ yards of material.  For what I need buying the material is way cheaper than buying already made panels. Going with a double panel with valence design. Most people have this design in their kitchens. I'll be able to open the top section wile leaving the bottoms closed. Have both lots of light and complete privacy.

Plumbing plumbing and more plumbing. I took back one part because it wasn't what I needed. And replaced it with another wrong part. I'll have to wait till the weekend to get the part I need. No one around here has it. This isn't my first plumbing rodeo. The house I grew up in was built in 1920. It's bathroom plumbing was from a 1950's mobile home. Finding parts to fit without doing a complete overhaul was real hit and miss. Ever watch 'This Old House'? they make plumbing look so easy. Because they have a dedicated van just for plumbing. Stocked with every possible part. All the way back to the Roman Empire.
