DenFur 2018

I wish I had known about this earlier, as I am not prepared.

But DenFur is being held near to DIA  (airport) this week/ weekend,  the 24th-26th. For me is like 25 minutes drive!
Kenket, Mischief Makers, Majira Strawberry, Stobes, all there!?!? And more!

Did I read that right?
(And my suit won't be available till next January!  )

Too be honest I would love it , but am VERY shy.  That is why I commissioned a suit.   
(I tried to make some hand paws and failed so bad it was clear I had no art skills.) I think I may still be able to register, but this would be my first conference and really wanted to do homework about attending cons etc... before going. So I wasn't totally unprepared and looking too dorky. Maybe my fears are irrational.

If I go, it will be one of the most zany and impromptu things I have ever done!
I will probably regret not going.

Heck, if my place was cleaned up more, I could have had people over to save them hotel fees. If DenFur stays around, I am sure that I will attend a lot.

I think that they had 2000+ attendees!
Should have gone! I knew I would regret not being there for at least some of it.
Next year I plan on going. I seriously need to get more plugged into social media.
Having post convention depression, and I wasn't even there.

I went to DenFur this year and will probably go next year since I'm close.

Cant rely speak to much on the Con since I didn't rely do much besides orbit the bar, work up a tab and attend a single panel besides the closing ceremonies. Wasn't feeling well or sociable for that matter, nor did I get a room at the hotel. Was kind of intimidated by the size of the crowd since Im also one of those people that can be defined as 'shy' and socially avoidant IRL. 

They certainly had a far larger turn out than they expected though . Per the Chair they where expecting between 600 to 800 and got a total attendance of around 2,400. So that would put it in the top 10 attendance wise.

Hi Turgius!
Maybe we will run into one another there!  so far,  i still plan on going.
For now I live close by, but I sometimes wonder if I will be moving soon.  If so, I hope I don't go to far away.
Sorry you weren't feeling well, and I honestly hope you feel better soon.
