I was wondering, sience there seems to be an explosion of new members recently if there is intrest in starting a furtopia irc channel on furnet. I would be willing to hold ops there sience i am on irc 24/7 literally. if somoene has a bot for autoops that would be fine also. Hopefully there is enough intrest in this, as I and im shure some other people perfur live chat to forums. the channel is #furtopia on furnet. you can downlad irc at www.mirc.com.

I think somefurs had tried before, but lost interest in it or something. Feel free to try again though. I don't often use the channels on IRC, but I'm often logged into the servers. My nick there is Benjamin, of course.

I'm not much of an IRC person, pop on every now and then but if it does catch on, I know where I'll spend some more time at ^_^

I think there actually is a furtopia channel on furnet, but hasn't really been getting used much. Oh corse it shouldn't be hard to find as it is #furtopia. If things kick off I'll try and stop by, I'm pretty hopeless in any conversation.
