Have yu seen something that looks like this FCW3mrw A- C- D H+++ M+ P R++ T++++ W Z Sm++ RLCT/E a18 c++ d+ e f+++ h* iwf+ j+ p+ sm+ on someone's site, sig, or somewhere else? This is known as the Furry Code. It gives many details about the one that uses it. Species, age, sex, do the draw or write, how huggable they are, the OS they use, and lots more. Interested? Go to: http://www.vulpine.pp.se/cgi-bin/furcode to learn more. They offer an encoder, where you can fill in some info and they generate your code. A decoder, where you enter a know code and get a translation. Then there is a FAQ on how to understand the code. Enjoy....

Yeah, the Furry Code has been around for several years already. It's sort of a take off on Geek Code, which is a system in which geeks could compare their geekyness against each other. The fur code is essentially the same thing... though it's more furry than geeky, if that's any consolation.

To add to this point of mine, I just checked out Captain Packrat's site, where he has the Furry Code set up in it's original form and all.

That's the way we used to have to do the Furry Code stuff before they came out with the automated system a couple years ago. Apparently, it celebrated it's seventh anniversary just a few weeks ago. Cool stuff.
