I've been working on a "How to Draw Anthros & Fantasy Creatures" book for ages and I may get it done this weekend if I really work on it.  I'm beginning to have my doubts since I've been feeling a little under the weather tonight.  Even if I get it done, it probably won't be available for sale for maybe another week or so since I still need to finish the cover.  I also decided to turn my "Cooking with Ramuh" series into an actual furry cookbook.  I wasn't going to do it, but the idea was brought up to me, so I decided to go with it '<img'>

I'm planning to add a bit more to my website this weekend as well... including a link to this forum, my fursuit page, and I'm actually going to work on my character pages a bit.

Anyhoo, I need to work on my own drawings a bit as well, but I've been a bit busy with everything else that's going on, so hopefully I'll get around to it soon.

My site just got a total makeover...

... and I just added a holiday cafepress shop because my mother asked me to do some santa-related items so she could give them away as gifts.  It's not furry, but the santa is kinda cute.

Up and Coming Stuff:

My comic is almost finished, it should be ready by mid-january.  **crosses fingers**.

I'm considering doing a furry swimsuit calender for 2005 as well (since it's a little late to make it for 2004).  I haven't decided if it's going to feature males or females yet.

I've come to the conclusion that my computer needs an exorcist.  Right now, the only way I can get online is at Tetra's house, and it's been hard trying to peel him away from Earth and Beyond.

Ulario's Random Thought:  Star Wars:  Knights of the old republic is a great game.  I've been totally addicted to it... and Carth Onasi is very sexy.  No wonder my character ended up with him.  '<img'>

KOTOR is great. I agree...him and Canderous are both cool  ''

Maybe you're computer needs a kick. Or a hug. My computer is one of about 3 things I will hug besides family members. Not counting my scanner '<img'>

Nope, it definately needed a young priest and an old priest.  '<img'>
It's working now... the reason why I couldn't get it fixed earlier is because the person on the computer help hotline last Saturday was a total dimwit (the person I talked to today said he was fired that same day).

As for KOTOR, that game always finds new ways to make me laugh.  Jolee and the assassin droid are both hillarious, though some of the comments that Carth made to my female character made me raise my eyebrow a bit more (My favorite was "I think I might have to take you over my knee and teach you a lesson" '<img'> )

My character in herself is amusing... she's super mean to Bastila and super nice to everyone else.  '<img'>

'Kay, I'm rambling again, I guess that'ts what heppens when I don't get enough sleep.  I'm going to bed.

Yay, I finally kicked myself in the butt and updated my websites.  I also started working on my webcomic.

My guest artist page has also had an update, so you can see all the wonderful pictures that people have drawn for me!  The newer ones are at the bottom!

Mmm... I adore avians. ^_^

The white yerf.com segments of your site kind of clash with the rest of the site, but I suppose that can't be helped.  However, you actually did a really good job with the black theming - most peopel who create black sites tend to do it so badly that black tends to earmark amateurism. I also adore the fact that you wrote comments for each picture.

I like your navigation layout. It's simple, easy, and intuitive. I also love how you framed your internal frame with black - it's reminiscent of looking at a portrait, except in this case we're exploring portrait space and the possible narrative behind it. Very nice, I really like it. You backgrounds also work very well with your site theming and black framing, although I suggest you have some of them unscrollable so that you don't bump into the edges where it tiles as it's slightly disconcerting. Or, you might consider using something like Paint Shop Pro 8 to fix the edging so that they tile smoothly.

Yerf.com aside, I'm viewing this at 1152x pixels and it seems that your site will shrink very nicely for the most part, although your framing (especially the top frame) seems like it may take up a lot of space at lower resolutions. However, being that this is an image gallery, you can get away with requiring a higher resolution; besides, new computers are set at a default of 1024x or so anyway, these days. '<img'>

You may also want to consider making your title banner link to the index page for quick navigation. You might also want to try a sans-serif font for your site text blocks (ie. arial) - it seems that it would fit the site theme much better than a serifed font (times new roman). TNR has a sort of bookish, "old fashioned" and very "usual" feel to it while a sans-serif font tends to be cleaner and more modern. Instead of setting your font to a specific font, try a font family (ie. <font style="font-family: sans-serif">). You could also try <body style="font-family: sans-serif"> to have it affect the entire document instead of just a small bit of your text.

To be clear, I'm not sure if it'll look better at all, but it's worth trying out. '<img'>

I also recommend padding the inside of your body spaces so that the text won't run from one edge to the other. I typically use 60px, myself.
Oh, faint memory trickles, that is all; like a stream that rustles forgotten leaves and lost paths.

Uh, yeah I understand about the whole yerf thing.  When I'm not feeling so lazy, I'm going to make html pages for my pictures so it will fit with the rest of the site.

Guess who just got an account on elfwood!

ME!!!

In other news.  I'm thinking about adding a section to my webpage title "Class Projects", where some of my best projects from my college classes are going to go.

Also, I began working on Gryphonheart #1.  I'll have to get my tail in gear to have it done by the end of this year.

I would not aggree with this statement.  There are bad sites of all colors and shapes out there that I don't think black in particular earns this stereotype.  I tend to use dark backgrounds in order to ease eye strain on sites with lots of text or in depth sites that I want to keep people entertained.  Ulario is using the latter (or so I would say) to keep people looking at her art without driving them away with excessive eye strain.  And she pulls it off wonderfully.

'<img'>  Keep up the great work, Ulario.  Web design is completely and utterly subjective, so don't let anyone tell you you've done something the wrong way if you do not believe it to be so.  '<img'>

A lot of people choose black because it's "cool".

My first bunch of websites were created with black backgrounds in order to make them easier to read and such. They still looked awful.

Whatever the reason, she did do a very good job.
