Please help me! I need to know how other people color their furries. When I try to color stuff it  doesn't look very good. ''
Vernsim:"I like my freaky spirit powers, my little buddy Ollie, my staff, and my gryphon friend.I just don't like the cape. What about you, Ollie?"

Ollie: "Can I have your cape if you don't like it?"

noone starts in a bang im sorry to say.
it took me nearly 4 years of attemps, but everytime i ended pissed or depresed, but then some friend gave me some suggestions and now look at my art!
it all depends on triying and do bunch of variants to see wich one is better.

I will move this to the more appropriate topic for you, Vernsim. You will get a lot more replies there.

For me, I started out with chalk and kept using it till I figured them out. Then, when I wanted more detail work, I went to the Prisma pencils and kept practicing with them. Now I am on the acrylic kick and will be practicing a lot with those.

Best advice I can give is once you create your sketch, scan it and print out several copies to practice on. Once you get the hang of the medium you are using, use it on your original sketch, or just leave it be on a sketch copy.

Good luck!
