Title: IRC Round-Robin

Seeing as when the server goes down, it goes /down/... would it be possible to let trusted users run an IRCd server and link to a round-robin system?  It's a bit absurd to watch the server "power cycle" working and then not every 20 seconds.

Feel free to ask me any questions about this or tell me it's not going to happen ever.

IMO, I wouldn't support this as only trusted and appointed Furtopian IRC Op staff may handle IRC operations, etc.

To allow any IRC user to control a server they would have to have proven themselves trustworthy. Currently there are only 2 people I would consider trustworthy enough to have one and one has already offered to host a server. I told them to ask WS and have mentioned it to WS myself but haven't heard anything back yet.
