Uploading pics

I know how to put up pictures from the net, but how do i upload one from my computer?  I'll need to do so for one of my RPs, so i can get my map of the world up.

Is it safe to say i've gotten better at using paint?  These are just a select few of the things i've made.

Sorry the sword on the left is so close to the edge.  The background and the edge of the screen thing looked the same, so i thought it was better centered.
