Just to let fellow Furtopian's know I have been planning on a Furtopian camp out this summer! My idea is to have it at Carter Caves state park Kentucky. No date is yet set. This is a general poll to see who would actualy like a Furtopian camp out.

The park is breath takingly beautiful, lots of trails, streams, and caves, cheap nice lots, and about as centraly located as I think we could get for midwest-east cost.

So who things they would be game? Woof!?

Sounds great, but I know I probably won't be able to get off work, and my Mom would never let me.... (Her roof... her rules...)

Sounds rather intreaging. Money would be biggest factor, though it looks potentially do able.. When were you thinking?

Kentucky is within "Driving distance," so as long as I could get some money together, I'd like to go. Sounds fun.

I'm all for it, but unfortunately I can't even afford to go to califur next year at the rate I'm going. If by some miracle I managed to get the funds, you'd see me there in a heart beat

Ok here is the plan. Â I'll start making some calls and figure out costs. Â There are cabins as well as cam grounds with power/water. Â Between the group of us I would expect non-travel camp ground costs to be very very reasonable. Â

I'll start figuring rates and dates tomarrow.

Lemme know when, where and what I can do to help. I already scoped out the website. It looks like a nice place. I have never been there but have been to other KY state parks and have yet to be disappointed.

It looks like about a 6 hour drive for me.

I was talking to Peaches about something like this about a month or so ago. Woot!

Hmm, that's only 376 miles away xD

Barring a lack of cash, I don't see a reason not to go. I'd even be willing to pick up a few furs along the way, provided that

1. They're not axe murderers
2. They're not too far out of the way
3. They'd be willing to pay for some gas

So let us know the dates and cost, and I'll try to budget it in. Sounds really fun ^^
