FTP not responding and Error in MySQL access
« on: October 03, 2010, 05:53:24 am »
Good day everyone!

I've been trying to access the ftp address, but the server times out.
so can't upload anything right now.

The other error is, when I try to access MySQL directory, I always get an autorization error,  sometimes I don't even get the password autorization thing.

bug usually after inserting my password, I get this error:

Quote
406 Error: the requested document is forbidden
URL: http://www.cesarin.furtopia.org/mysql/

You might have reached this page because the requested URL is forbiden on this server: the security system has detected a possible attack on the server. If you are the owner of this website, believe that the security is too tight, and that what you are doing is legitimate, please get in touch with the server administrators to request more relaxed rules for your website as this may be related to mod_security.

even when removing the httaccess files, I get the same error.
(obviusly that would leave my site wide open)

in something completely differnet, but as a question... is it possible to install JOOMLA on my subdomain?

Your account was allocated 350 megs of space which was nearly full.  I have increased your space to 500 megs.  Also your mysql folder has an .htaccess files restricting access.  Is your password there correct or would you like us to reset that for you?
IRC quotes:

[05:01] <Kai_Misou> We cats sleep when we want and where we want.
[05:01] <WhiteShep> We dogs sleep WHEN we can. :/

the password hasnt been changed so no idea why its restricting me, and also it only asks me one time and keeps blocking me for days.

but if possible, yes. Please reset the httaccess password file.

(by the way, like I said before, the htta was removed before and still gave me the access error, so no idea what is exactly causing the 406 error)
also I didnt know that once you got out of your quota, the ftp would block you (by the way, I havent uploaded much so can you check if something was uploaded while I was out? )

and.. .you didn't answer me on the joomla thing XD

check your PM's from me.  I believe I told yuu that it was ok to use JOOMLA since WS said others have used it on their sites.
