After all the fun I had at MFF, I'll definitely be going to AC as well, though I'm also going to try and make Morphicon... I have a ride down most likely, though I'm not sure about a room yet.

To answer a few things: I don't have a job (even though places were hiring they never called back..even after I went back to check on the applications...twice), I don't smoke, drink, eat out, rent movies, any of that. I get money from my parents only and well...that's not going to last long seeing as after Christmas I'm coming out to them....>.> That can be discussed elsewhere though.

I will be working towards AC and getting a job. As soon as I get a job, 20-50 dollars a week is going into a "Furry Money" jar here in my room and I'll be saving up to get there. If I get a decent job, I'll have the money in no time ^_^ '<img'>

That is what I did. ':p' And you don't need a "good" job. Any job (again, I worked at McDoands) will be fine. :3

Looks like a good time ahead at AC 05.  I look forward meeting all of you.  Hopefully I will have met quite a few already at FWA and Morphicon.

Also as a side note, most cons will give you free admission the following year if you volunteer for about 8 hours this time around.  Every buck counts!

Straight off the AC website (I've been checking into it myself)
Quote
# What do I get for volunteering?

That's the GOOD part! If you volunteer just ten hours over the course of the convention, we'll give you a free Anthrocon T-shirt. If you volunteer fifteen hours or more, we'll not only give you a T-shirt, we'll give you a free membership to Anthrocon 2006. Hours worked for setup and teardown (when we most need people) count double!

I've been thinking about helping out just to get involved and gain some experience for when we try and do a Virginia con. Just 7 1/2 hours setting up or tearing down and you're set for the next year and you'd be helping out with one of the greatest furry events around- who could ask for more?

I'd like to try and make it to Morphicon also, but that one is an 10 hour drive and I've got to see how it goes first. But AC is a definite yes!

I'll be there, :K)   (Dunno how many of you I saw at WhiteShepherd's room party last year... I believe I was in the bathroom putting on my makeup.)    Hope to actually meet some of you there in July. :K)

I'll be there again this year, and Fahnix will be with me. I just need to get enough cash to pay for the hotel room. Well, that and parental approval. I'm sure WS and Kada remember that from last year (sorry!'<img'>.

I'll probobly be going, but I'm cheap and poor at the same time, so I'll either end up bumming a room or driving there every day because it isn't that far anyway.

My current plan is to drive my minivan from Connecticut. (It hasn't been approved by my parents yet though.) If your between CT and AC, I may be able to pick you up, but at this time, I can't guarantee anything.

I am 99.567% sure that I am going... my route would be south through Michigan, then across Ohio, pretty much a straight drive. will probably have at least one fur riding with me, maybe a second. I am still looking for a room, but, I will probably end up reserving one and trying to find others to stay with me. so, anyone along or near I-75/US23 in MI, or in far north ohio, just let me know.
Just a tiger, well, not really, because I can walk on 2 legs! :P

I'll be driving up from the middle of Virginia, thru the DC area and on to Philly. If anyone fairly close along the way I'll be glad to pick them up. I'll be limited to giving a ride to just one other fur tho, the truck only holds two.

Aww! I'm sorry Sunookitsune! '<img'> I know how you feel about the van dieing though. Mine died Thursday, but me and my uncle fixed it yesterday so I'm happy for now. It'll probably happen again before AC, but hopefully I can find a ride and not have to worry with my damned car..POS Corsica....gah!

Well, now that I have a license, car, and a job, I'm about 80% sure I'm gonna make it. This will be my first con, and I look forward to it. Since I live around DC, it won't be more than a three-four hour drive for me. I've been wanting to go to one for like, four years, and now I'll be able to.  '<img'>

Okay, just a quick note. I now have a '98 Camry, so I am once again able to make Anthrocon, assuming everything ends up working out for it.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm *most likely* able to drive up to three furs.

I'm going to try to hit up anthrocon this year. If I save up, seven months (actualy it's closer to six now) I might be able to swing it. Hopefully I will have moved out by then too so I won't have to explain my disappearance to my family by that time. It's a tough call but I think I can make it. We'll see.

I would love to go.  I'm currently trying to get my studio partners to go with me should we have the time and funds.  We hit lots of anime conventions throughout the year promoting our goods and doing panels, so I'm going to try and get some panelwork for us (this would be our first furry con) as well as a dealer table.
