And quite rightly so...... But don't forget Bear's lived in England for a good while (until wiped out by man) as did wolves so technically we could just be recycled spirtit. '<img'>
Would probably have been my reply. But then how do you explain Dragons and Gyphons ????? I belive you don't choose your chosen big diffrence.
All I want too do is leave paw prints in the sands of time. (Garfield)
To be forgotten is worse than death (Freya)
We are all equal in the fandom. ( WhiteFang good fur and friend )
I am not a dancing bear toothless claw less here for your amusement, more like the other way round.

Hmmm...
I take it those guys had never heard of a little invention called 'zoos' either, did they? '<img'>
Spirituality transcends the physical world's limitations. I'm surprised that those weres wouldn't realise something as simple as that.
Oh well. ':p'

Ah, people in every group have griefers, and I'm not surprised that there's one here;

Yeah, I agree about Dragons & Griffins too, but maybe you should have included Gnolls, Basilisks, Minotaurs, etc... ':.'

I slept with a stuffed cat when I was younger... most of my stuffed toys were cats, and cats were the only pets my family had.... so it's no surprise I developed a kinship with them.
At one point, I believed that one of my stuffed cats actually proposed marriage to me.  I asked my grandmother what I should do, and she said "Ask your father for permission..."  Well, I knew my father wouldn't approve, so we pretended to elope.  As far as I know, I'm still married to that stuffed cat.
''

As for my daughter... so far, she's only 14 months old, but she loves cats as well.  When I was pregnant, all my co-workers attacked my decision to keep our cats (with the baby).  They felt the cats were a danger.
Â On the contrary, those cats were very affectionate towards her... they curled up next to her and groomed her hair.  My favorite cat, Dominic, was always by her side watching over her.
Now that she's walking and grabbing them, their attitudes are mixed.  Some run, and others accept it and let her drag them around... until Mommy catches her.  But she already knows how to properly pet them.
Â One of my daughter's first words was "Kit Kat"

She also likes it when Mommy dresses as a cat, and makes kitty noises.   ''
We'll see how she turns out when she's older.   '<img'>

(Off-topic:  I absolutely love these kitty emoticons!'<img'>
Why me?  That I, alone, should be responsible for the welfare of the entire field, is monstrous!

I used to think the same thing about cats because my older sister said she had to get rid of her cat after she got pregnant. I realized later though, there was no problem with cats and babies. I had two when my son was born. '<img'>

Why did she have to get rid of her cats?  BTW, my son was born Oct. 17th, 5:48 PM EST, weighing 9 lbs, 15.8 oz., measuring 21" long. '<img'>  I watch our four cats with my son...three are like "whatever" one is scared of him.  The dog gets really excited, but that's cuz that's the way he is around anyone new...so I don't let him get too close, not till Aiden is older.

Blessings,

Fianna

Congratulations on a great baby boy! Good healthy size!

2 days before my birthday! I won't be forgetting his birthday any time soon that is for sure! '<img'>

She said she heard that cats will get into the babys bed and smell the milk on their lips and in trying to get the milk they would also suck all the air out of the baby. Old wives tale, I think. At least my cats never did that.

Oh, please, please please? I would love to see a new fur addition!

So, do you think you will have any troubles being a furry mom? I'm sure it won't be any different than being a regular mom. Enjoy and take TONS of photos!

My girlfriend already has two children... which will effectively become mine as well when she and I eventually marry. She's a furry as well, which is a major bonus... and she tells me that after marriage, she wants to have a child or two with me. '<img'>

'<img'>  Congradulations! I remember when our little fur ball was born. Most wonderful experiance of my life! Don't really know any websites on the subject, so I apologise.

Best advice I can give is, love yourself, love your child, and feel loved.

This may sound corny, but talk to the baby while its in the womb, play music for it, keep a bare hand on it when you can. The baby can actually sense all of this, and it helps with bonding as well with your own spiritual needs. Also play with it, such as dancing a TY plushie on your belly as you giggle and talk to the baby.

It helped my wife and our experiance tremendously! Our daughter came out extroadinary! Hope yours does as well.

Congradulations again. Enjoy it while it lasts!

Hey,

I'm not actually a parent, I'm just a kid. You people sound like really devoted parents, and it would be great if my mom was into fur!

*smirk* when Chaz' ex GF moved in, I became a furry dad...chaz allready is one *wink* Vaz absolutely LOVED my art, although I was very carefull to keep out any adult material (better safe than sorry).  I also learned to keep my sketchbook out of sight...he'd automatically scribble in it.  to have that much motor controll at less than two, the equivelant of a four year old I believe, is amazing.
I got one thing out of it...I don't get disgusted at messes that stink anymore...after handling diapers...he wouldn't let his mum change him half the time!

BTW...congrats, Fianna.  you should have passed on your cub's birthdate a long time ago through someone else...but I know NOW that they're a major handfull at ANY age
