Allright...I know that you can add HTML to the pages that Furtopia offers, but I'm not exactly sure how.

My question,
Furtopia a standard, apache type lister?

or is there something I'm missing here?

I plainly don't understand how I upload the HTML files I've designed.

You just upload them. Make sure they have the 'html' extension. And if you want to completely replace the lister, make sure you're using the file 'index.html'.

You can also change the .css file as well.

Ok to upload to your Furtopia account You need a FTP (File Trasfer) program. I recomend going to http://www.furtopia.org/tools and downloading Filezilla. It is very easy to use.

Once installed Filezilla works like Windows Explorer. After you put in your FTP information for your account (found in your acceptance letter) you can drag and drop files from your hard drive to your web space.

If you have any problems one of us (staff) can walk you through the process over IM. It's not hard to do and once you get the hang of it. It becomes very easy to use.

If you want a webpage of yours to autoload in a directory name it index.html (or .shtml for ssi or .php if it has php code in it).
