I was at school today when my locker, clearly graffitied, had SALAMANDER scrawled across it, I do believe i found mah sona
Is this seen as being a scaly then? or can salamanders be furry?

Salamander is excellent! The uniqueness is wonderful!

I also found a big salamander under a shed that I took down this week.

I think it's pretty well established that you can do whatever you please. The joke about the "Bureau" was really a joke about people who think they can tell others what to do with a fursona. Anthros that sparkle, things that shouldn't have wings but do, taurs (lol), fursonas with four arms two torsos and two heads... I've seen all of these as fursonas, and none of them have any business existing in the real world. Hey, I've even seen a sentient breakfast pastry as a fursona, so a fuzzy salamander looks downright normal to me.

That's a good question though... are salamanders considered scalies even though they have no scales?

Technically speaking, salamanders have skin, but skinnies sounds kinda... meh. Maybe... exothermies.

That's true, I was just wondering what we call salamanders, frogs and other amphibians which lack scales or fur. I'm sticking with exothermies.
