Its a sweet machine.

I've spent nearly all day playing Resistance: Fall of Man.

Love that game.

Anyfur else got a PS3? if so, whats your opinon on it?

Im tempted to get one enventually, because my favorite series (Resident Evil), seems to be moving to the more expensive consoles, while I have a Wii.

Yeah Metamo. Gears is good. I have the xbox360. Its pretty sweet too. I love the games for it. I'm dying for Halo3

Planning on getting the Wii next.

I got the cheaper one. Its only to play the next final fantasy's and Silent Hill's.

Are the graphics near realistic? Or does it just depend on the game? I'm really more into the X360 but Id like to know if the PS3 is worth the price. Oh well. Soooo poor *Holds out a can of coins*

I don't want PS3 and XBOX 360 but that's only because of the price. If I got them for free I wouldn't say no. Rather have a wii soon.

Eek, Im going to down the PS3! I was one of those people who waited in line for one, and I had some issues with selling it. So I opened it and played it for a day. My uncle then called me up and said he wanted to buy it even though i had opened it.. so I sold it right back.

I just wasn't impressed and a bit upset that the Ps3 doesnt upscale 720p to 1080i for my 5-year-old HDTV. Resistance llooked like a decent good PS2 game.... certainly not close to the stuffs on the PC

I was a bit underwhelmed by the thing, and just couldnt justify the money that the PS3 cost.

Regardless, I will own a PS3 eventually no doubt.. I always end up buying all the next gen systems. Im glad you got it and I hope you enjoy it !

Congratulations, and try not to let the massive waves of people all across the internet bashing it get to you.

Most of the issues that people whine about have already been corrected by Sony. The only issues that really remain are the issue of price and games. The former being predicted to be fixed this very year by analysts, the latter is definitely very temporary.

I have a PS3. Resistance is, like, the best game of last year, and really fun online. There isn't much else on the console yet, but good stuff is coming, anyway.

We just have Resistance, Virtua Fighter, and Motorstorm. I don't really play the last two. My brother is a huge Virtua Fighter game, so he loves the new one, of course, and Motorstorm is fun, apparently.

Hey everybody, I've wanted a PS3 for so long now, I know that most people aren't that impressed with it yet, and quite frankly most can't afford it.

For those dissing the Ps3, when it was released, the Original Atari cost about the same amount of money if you factor in the amount of inflation since it was released, Also with respect to the quality of games currently out for the system, as well as the quality of graphics, remember when the PS2 came out, the graphics weren't that much different from the PSOne's Graphics. It traditionally takes a year or two for programmers to acclimate to the new programing environment and system capabilities.

I personally plan to buy a PS3 as soon as I have the money (although I will probably end up commissioning a fursuit first.....)

(P.S. I am not biased by any company affiliations in the family.......ok ok, My dad works for Incognito Entertainment, Speaking of which for those of you who actually own a PS3, Go buy Warhawk the day it is released, it will be absolutely killer)
