Nice to see so many people finally agreeing on an MMO. Maybe if we can get enough people on Furtopia interested in it, we could actually make a Furtopia city in game?  '<img'>

Darkfall Trailer

Wow. This looks very sexy. If this turns out as good as it looks, I believe I'm quitting WoW.

Basically, looks like an MMO where you can do ANYTHING. No level requirements on items (I hope this will be changed), all of the combat is done by you, (Weapon swings, spellcasts, etc.,) you can take on any role, own cities, empires, pretty much anything. Graphics are beautiful to boot.

Reminded me a ton of Oblivion, as well. =3

From the trailer it also looks like there will be an anthro-wolf race too.

Anyways, thoughts on this? I personally am trying it as soon as it's out. I think the concept of no level requirements is not so great, but the controls that are all done by the player looks fun and owning a city would pretty much own. Any player can be attacked at any time, something else I hope will be tweaked.

Edit: Thanks!

Maybe if I were into mmo's I'd try it, but I don't know, it doesn't look that interesting to me.  ':dead:'
Not enough 'anything' for me I guess? O.o;

S'why I play SL.  *shot*

Does look pretty good for what it is though, I like that anthro wolf creature.  '<img'> Thanks for sharing this

Ahaha, right.

But I do agree with you, it looks very sexy.
I just hope it isn't one of those games that requires you to pay x amount of money every month.

Looks very thorough and the graphics are cool, can't say that I'd play it though.  After letting myself get addicted to wow last year, I'm gonna have to pass.   '<img'>

It's possible.  I quit cold turkey at the end of January.  Haven't thought about it since.  Ahh life is great!  '<img'>

LOL, it looks like only computers built at MIT would be able to run it.  '<img'>

It does look nice though. Everything based on skills and no classes, just call yourself and dress like whatever you want to be. I like that.

If you mean in awesomeness yes, but in player base not a chance in hell. Remember that wow is world of WARCRAFT, one of the most
famous game franchises ever. I think they might take a slight hit to their playerbase but I still think they will easily stay about 6 million even after the next round of MMOs come out.

As for the game its self, hell yea it looks cool. The game almost seems like it is going to have a feel like old ultima online. As far as being able to use whatever weapon or armor at whatever level, and the ability to make towns or whatnot (tho in UO the towns were unofficial). UO was my favorite game ever before electronic arts ruined it. Also if there is a wolf race in the game THAT HAVE  TAILS(stupid vanguard) I will definatly be there. Bah just checked out the website, no tails on the wolfey race, but they do look like they at least have digitgrade legs.

o_o Looks quite interesting.

If I wasn't so addicted to the community in my current MMO obsession I might look into it further.

Looks like they are trying to do the same thing Face of Mankind tried to do, only in a fantasy setting instead of sci-fi.

Maybe when WoW no longer wows me...

It's not really up to me anyway. I play whatever MMORGs my friends do. None of them ever want to be the support class...that's why they have me. They pay my way and I deal with being the babysitter.  ':p'

Ditto. Hence why my two main characters I play are a paladin (Real main) and a priest (Just started pretty much.) If I quit I'm sure my friends would murder me IRL, they're all DPS and would have no heals if I quit. ;_;

It's gonna be hard for me to quit, I love my WoW server's community, I feel your pain.

Agreed. I do like WoW but I believe it's becoming more and more populated. If you were around back in patch 1.9, you may remember the AQ opening? First server to open it?

Medivh.

Server I've played since launch?

Medivh.

Ever since 1.9 we've just been so overcrowded. ;_;

':shock:'  That game looks beautiful. There's no chance in Hell that i'd be able to play it on my current computer though ':p'

I wonder when the release date is... I read somewhere that it's been in development since 2003 ':dead:'

Rofl....all the more reason to appreciate your generosity now.

Ohhh you know it. The most popular classes are always the uber powerful ones that can like smite monsters in 1 hit. But who wants to be the "nurse" running around patching them up all the time? Not many volanteers. And let's face it, hearing "omg heal me" or "revive me plox" gets old fast....especially when you don't hear "thank you" enough. Healers get treated like tools way too often. I know they're just games, but sometimes there's a lot you can't accomplish without a good support on your team. A little appreciation doesn't hurt.

Makes me wonder what classes are in this one. I always love magic jobs with teleport...lol it's my thing.

Eh, graphics are pretty rough. Still, nice.

I prefer the Star Trek one...Ships with phasers are more fun then swords.

I'm really liking the sound of this.
Having no levels or classes is interesting.
I pray there won't be a subscription fee because I want to play it -_-;

Don't think I'll ever play this.

1. I'm a big fan of classes and turn based stuff.
2. I love non-realistic stuff to bits.
3. I'm already addicted to too much.
4. I could never gain a computer fast enough and good enough for this game!

So enough reasons aye? '<img'> though playing on somebody elses his computer just for fun would be nice.

p.s. I disliked Oblivion alot.
