Sleeping in.
« on: August 25, 2019, 04:46:01 pm »
For when you have a day off from work or when your day isn't otherwise filled with a lot of chores, do you often "sleep in" late? And how long do you usually sleep late in the mornings? What's your normal or average wake up time vs. your sleep late wake up time?

Me? I usually can't seem to sleep past 8am in the morning. But if I do, I'll sleep in late till maybe 9am. Best day for me to sleep late is Sundays.

When I was employed full time and such, I slept in on weekends only and only gained maybe 3 to 4 extra hours of sleep in those two days.

Lately...
normal day with no work of any kind...
Normally I get up at 7am, busy by 8am, go to sleep at 9pm wake up once to use restroom maybe 1/3 of time.

Normal day with job...
wake up at 5am, leave for work 7am get to work 8am, work till 5 or 6pm, get home 6 pm, get to sleep 9pm, repeat

these days with nothing to do but get a job...
wake up between 7am and noon.
get to bed 9pm till 1am.
max sleep is 14 hours
min sleep is 6 hours or 0
average sleep is 9hours, and it has been that way since I have been very young till now.

I'm usually a early morning person but when I "sleep in",  it is usually until around 8 or 9am.
I took the red pill...

I can't sleep in past 10am, no matter what, or I develop a migraine. It's probably a dehydration thing.

I usually stay up because I can’t sleep. But when I do finally get to sleep on a day off from work I’ve slept in till 1pm. It feels good.

I'm lucky to be able to sleep in past 0800 due to a trucker neighbor firing up his loud pickup to drive out four blocks to his big rig...or breakfast at McD's. Tried earplugs but sometimes remove them in my sleep. Usually up before 0530 during the work week.

Forgot to turn off my alarm and was awakened early. Then went back to sleep only to be awakened and hour or so later by gunfire. Duck hunters in the creek a mile off.
