Trump Care and you.
« on: October 13, 2017, 12:05:45 pm »
They call it Trump Care. Presidnet Trump allows insurance companies
to offer policies with high deductables and copays at a reduced price
to people who are healthy. Oh yes the requirement to buy health
insurance was removed.

Might sound good to a young healthy person. Well they better hope
they don't have an accident or get seriously sick. Trump Care only
saves you money if you stay well. This should sound familiar to how
health insurance was before the ACA. Then you could buy insurance
that only paid part of a doctor or hospital bill. Leaving people with
no credit and bankrupt if they and if they had kids got sick.

The ACA was passed so people could get sick or hurt and not loose
everything. Small clinics and hospitals were going broke because
people couldn't pay or had insurance that wouldn't pay. I had an
illness in 1986 that cost over $50,000.00.. It happend I had good
insurance. I remember the admittance person telling me I had good
coverage. The only bill I got was  $35.00 for the tv and phone
I had wanted in the room. A private room at that.

Many people at the time had poor coverage if any. The ACA put
an end to this as well as covering tests for cancer people usually
avoided due to costs.

Trump has no business telling people about health insurance. As
a billionaire he could own a hospital or have a personal doctor.
He has no idea what it's like to live with little or no money.
