Title: Web Comic PHP publishing scripts?

I've been thinking of doing a web comic and I'm looking at different free scripts.
These are my top choices, I'm wondering if they would work here if installed.

There have been several users that have installed comic strips.  Most do work here.  The main thing is that they work with PHP v5, PHP Safe Mode, and if they support comments have bot protection (otherwise spam bots will fill them up with advs).

I found a good and simple PHP script called ComicGallery.

Most of the others need Mysql and Chmod permissions.
