*Blinks in confusion*
Heh wow...i'm scared, I donno.
I'm from the UK and this is the first major trip i've ever though about
Basically first trip to USA, first trip alone, etc.
*gulp*
Maybe it's to much?
That's up to you to decide. If you're generally a good planner and organizer, have gone through the process of getting a passport, and have a sufficient proficiency in street smarts, I imagine that you'd be OK. If you're concerned, you could always try a European furry con first.
Well, I think you should go
But yeah, yeah, it is up to what you're comfortable with. Being an international trip for you, you'll definitely want to make sure you've got things planned well. Traveling actually isn't that bad. Even alone. Just have to make sure you're set to go to the right destination and on the right day, pretty much. And once you've traveled alone once, it won't feel like a huge deal at all to do it again in the future.
Back in high school, the first trip I ever took was an international trip. Fortunately it was with a group from school, but still first time on a plane and I was going across the Atlantic was a big deal for me. Now, I've done a decent amount of traveling alone for work stuff. Generally, if you just approach it with confidence, it'll work out.
