furry pride?

I like everyone's perspective and lack of personal attacks! Ok, so some people  like to combine symbols, that's cool. But, as pointed out, it's not like I'm searching "gay furry pride" - I'm using a neutral term. If you're not gay, but want to show some pride, its sorta rediculious that you must sift through alot of rainbow flags. It's something that irks me. I'm fine with gays xP I just don't like being called something I'm not. ._.

Yeah, but the average person doing research into furries is mostly likely smart enough to say "Furry pride..ohh...Google must have thought I meant Furry....Pride.  Okay, let me try this again."

So while yeah, it exists and its the most hit on google, most will realize the mistake.  "Surely, not ALL furries are gay?"

True, but it's not just the furry pride images. The bad media + trolls + quick "research" Already have alot of non furs believing most furries are gay zoophiles as it is. x.x I swear I've read "most of them are gay anyway" many times alread. My gay friends know I love them and they respect my prefs too. - I only think when it comes to the fandom as a whole, pride should be for all, not catered to some.

OK... I know I posted here already... but I saw something today that made me think... I was walking out of a resteraunt, and parked next to my car was a light blue PT Cruiser with a banner/sticker by the bottom of the license plate... it had rainbow paw prints and said "Woof" in the center. I asked my friend... What do you suppose that sticker means?  She said she thought the person was a dog owner who happened to be gay. She then offered the suggestion that maybe they have a gay dog, and recounted the South Park episode.  I got to thinking... it COULD have been mistaken as a furry pride symbol... so I guess, maybe Im changing my opinion a bit.

  Yeah, I have a friend who has a gay cat. So it's entirely plausible.

Blah!  I should have responded a while back about this  . 

If I were told I have to get a paw-print tattoo, I would probably put it on the back of my hand, as if there were a paw within my hand..sort of.

My brother wanted me to get it on the back of my hand too but if they need to do another IV then that is where they would put it XD and I would bleed so badly if he did it there XD

From what I've seen of the well known Paw Print emblems they are usually linked with showing support for animal rescue web sites and animal humane societies, so I really doubt that they are linked to any furry group.

...one paw print logo is even used as the logo for some open source bug tracking software, trak (you know, like an animal's track, thus a paw print...)

so yeah, it is pretty widely used
