I noticed the Alternate Fursona Meme topic didn't cover plants. So, if you had a plantsona, what would it be? I'd prefer to be a Quaking Aspen tree, myself.

I would be a palm tree, on a beach.  Beaten by hurricane winds all through my tree-life, but always able to stand my ground.

I guess I'll go with one of my favorite plants that I have at home;

A pretty hardy carnivorous plant, I've had it for... 5, 6 years, and it's growing strong! Unlike most other carnivorous plants which seem to be rather finiky about what sort of climate and growing conditions they will take, this is one of the highland nepenthes that is pretty forgiving about climatic conditions. Given I'm in inland socal, that's a good thing (low humidity).

Also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arbutus_unedo. Not to be confused with our local admin rabbit, I'm referring to the strawberry tree! A pretty, red-barked tree with awesome (looking), colorful fruit. The fruit can range from sweet (if you get lucky) to bland (usually the latter), depending on the tree [some variants have inedible fruit, as they were raised for decorative purposes only, but my tree produces edible fruit, and sweet ones too, which is fairly rare; usually its quite bland.]. Grows wonderfully in socal's climate as well, given the dry summers.

If I were to be a plant I hope that I would be one of those obnoxious, hard-to-kill weeds that multiply like crazy and kill off entire gardens. All the other plants would fear me :3

Okay, so it's not a real plant...  But, when I was ten, we planted a pussy willow tree in my backyard, and I was so taken with the the little, fuzzy catkins that grew on it in the spring that I loved to imagine they were real, tiny cats.  My idea was that -- in addition to a tree that grew tiny kittens on it being the most amazing thing ever -- it would also be a clever way for the tree to spread its seeds, 'cause instead of falling on the ground around the tree, they could wander off on epic little journeys in search of the perfect place to lie down and grow into a new tree.

I called this imaginary tree a "kitty willow," and if I could be *any* plant, I would absolutely go for that one.
