Hahaha,my poor parents had to sit through that film sometimes twice a week when I was a kid,it was my regular rental when there were no cartoons or family movies to rent.
My fave bit will always be the marching dog song:
Here comes the dog!
Strong and brave,WOOF!
Here comes the dog, your life he...arhg! *falls*

I love that movie. (:

The singing the fox does has got to be one of the funniest moments in that film, which is hard to pick out of the overall hilariousness of it.

I still absolutely love this movie!  The fox is OBVIOUSLY the best part of the movie, but it's all great ;)

I mentioned to Shim that I need to make the singing fox my ringtone :D

Oh wow, I forgot about that movie! I wore out my VHS tape of it watching it over and over again as a kid.

Now I want to find it and watch it again.

This and Homeward Bound were probably two of my favorite animal-related movies back then.

I've been watching it a lot more often since my three-year-old daughter discovered it.

best childhood memories ever. <3
"If we could sit together a moment and talk forever just to pass the time, I would smile as the shivers and chills run down my spine when your eyes are locked on mine. Oh we'll fill the metro skies with country air, and when you close your tired eyes, I'll meet you there.

I'll meet you there." ~ Owl City

Speaking of which...  She's home sick from preschool today and just walked in clutching the DVD of Milo & Otis.

Whenever I stayed home due to illness, I would always watch Price is Right (ooh, shiny!) followed by Robin Hood or Milo & Otis.  Sometimes both! :)  Now I almost want to get sick so I can stay home and watch these  (:

I would watch cooking and gardening shows.  They were slow paced (back then) and kind of soothing for someone who was really out of it.  Unfortunately, we didn't have a copy of Milo & Otis when I was a kid, so I actually only got to see it once while growing up when we rented it.  I loved it though, so I was really excited to see the DVD last year and promptly hooked my daughter on it.

I honestly love this movie... I watched it all the time as a kid.

The only problem with it is that there were no laws about the ethical treatment of animals back then (at least in Japan, anyway).  A lot of allegations about cruelty to animals were raised.
Allasso, Volume 2: Saudade is now out!  Feel free to check it out ^_^
