My fursona would never live in my room. It is too small yet to open. I have two large windows, but the walls are to close together. My fursona would like my yard though. It is very spacious and the trees form a nice canopy. The forest area would be very nice to him, and would give him plenty of time to relax.

My room requires a lot of physical effort to navigate, with lots of Lego all over the floor....  It's also very cluttered, which makes it cosy, and I also have a cabin bed, which is fun :) and it's also in need of a bit of a clean...

I'm sure it's very fit for one. me being one ;)

I have no room that I would consider furry, so I will describe my ideal furry room.  First it would have lion posters up.  Second, there would be plushies everywhere with Leo being my featured one.  He sits on my computer and inspires me.  Third there would be My tail, and Maleki's tails hanging on the wall and maybe eventually fursuits for each but that far off and only a pipe dream.  This room would be the lion's den so would have to have the ultimate computer system with multiple monitors and a couch for when im sleepy.  It needs to be ready for arting, writing, and flight simulators.

There would also have to be a work space where i can do physical art and space for working on clients computers.

Thats it for now.

That how I got into Sanrio/ Hello Kitty, I wanted to decorate my studio apartment as and expression of my furrinnes but most furry stuff did not appeal to me. One day I look ant a hello kitty plush I kept from an liquidation sale and the rest was history.

I have over 30 hello Kitty plushies, figurines and my bedding been kittize. Sandly I missed the Hello Kitty bathroom items when they were available.

I have a pile of plushies (spreading across my room, slowly :o ). Tail hanging off my guitar stand. My blanket I use year round has a cat on looking at a butterfly, and a wolf blanket I keep folded up for when I need it. My dresser has a bunch of little carved stone animals. I have several posters (that need to be put up on the wall) and pictures and things - a couple of sonic and one from FWA'09, a framed cross-stitch someone did me of a cat I used to have, a few carved wooden fish, and some little novelty toys (Garfeild, Pokemon, My Little Pony [yup... x_x]).

So....yeah, my room makes a lot of people double take. It is either very furry...or like a teenaged girl's. :o

Except for the cabin bed part, this describes my room perfectly. Though, my Lego stuff isn't quite limited to the floor...  (:

Although Lycus would much prefer some Mayan ruins, my room definatly makes humans do a double-take when they walk inxD
Maybe it's the giant coca-cola bear beside my bed, or the bats hanging off my ceiling and on my tv, or possibly the pile of faux-fur in the corner, or the tail hanging off my guitar rack... x3

I used to have a pile of dog plushies in my room but I got rid of them. These days I'm only interested in plushies if they're animatronic or have electronic innards.

My ideal Furry room would have wall to wall dog posters. A bed with dog bedsheets, pillowcases and blankets and electronic toy doggies everywhere.

I've got a fair few plushies lying around (mostly of extinct animals) and some furry art in progress that I keep meaning to try and finish.
And a pile of collars, a couple of leads and some bells to attach on to them on the side of my desk.

I don't know if my room would be something a furry would like, seeing as I share a room with my younger sibling.

However, my side of the room has soft toys on the bed (a purple and blue teddy, a giant white teddy and a little abysinnian cat) a few anime posters, a sparkly lucky cat that waves it's paw to bring in good fortune, a leopard print bedspread and other brightly coloured soft and handmade blankets - one sparkly and brilliantly coloured patchwork quilt made by my mum, the other a multihued croquet wool blanket, a biscornu that is about the cutest thing ever and has little black cats on it, two real cats (who I love immensely) that often adorn the bedcovers and pillows with their beautiful prescence (hee hee  :D), and various other cat shaped or cat themed items, or things that cats would like.  :) Only problem is, the only part of the room that stays tidy is my bed. The rest of it is made messy by my sis.

My current room would make pretty much everyone do a double take at the moment. I sleep on a mattress on the floor in the living room... No more room for me at home since I moved out for college and everyone expanded out to fill the space I left.

My ideal room would be nice and open, with the closet and bathroom nearby. Lots of windows, but big blackout curtains so I can actually sleep in late if I want to. I'd have a nice big squishy bed, lots of room for my computer, and space to put a fursuit (if/when I get one).

I'm kinda limited by what I can do at the moment, being at home. I can't wait until I get back from basic training and my tech school so I can rent my own place and not have to worry about other people getting into my things lol.

I chose Blah. I've seen lots of 'furry rooms' on FA and its usually so tacky its disgusting. Our bedroom is stylish for the most part. I do have a couple small pokémon beanies and some figures on the bookshelf, a coyote figurine, and two life size pokémon that sit on the floor in front of the bed or on it when we aren't in it (Eevee and Snivy, I made them. They end up in the living room on the couch too sometimes). Other than that.. I like good decor and good taste. That's just my (and my wife's) personal preferences.  8)

I get bored of room designs every few weeks...I don't buy new things, but I do rearrange everything.  I like open, minimalist rooms one day, and closed, cozy rooms the next  ;) sigh, the only furry thing I have in my room is my computer wallpaper...but someday, I might get a cute fox plushie :D

i voted yes, but i actually guess not. i'm sorta borderline i think. i counted a while ago that in total (including myself) i have 11 lions in my room. that's posters, plushies and arts... and doesn't include pictures in books and/or dvds because i can't be bothered to count that. however, i have a lot of very human things too. i think the computer would be a give-away, as would the used food bowls and plates next to it. i also have music (in paper form) thrown around the room in a fairly chaotic fashion, and my two saxophones are slumped on the sofa awaiting my paws to wrap around them.

oh yeah... not to mention clothes.

All my plushies are on shelves.  My room is more an extension of the library than anything else.  In fact, most of the house serves the library.  To that effect, the odd shelf full of stuffed animals, bronze dragons or paintings of wizards and so on blend in.  It's not as much that the room is impressive as the entire house is.

The only thing I have in my room that I consider furry is a motivational poster that I made that has a drawing of my fursona on it.

Now that I have moved...my room is a little more on the normal side. Only brought a few of my plushies, and my little stone animal collection, and that cat blanket. No posters or piles of plush or whatnot.
Hmmm...I miss my darned piles of plush, so I will be moving that stuff this way next time I go home (probably spread the move out over a few visits, seems less like overkill and less conspicuous that way  8) ).

:'( Sadly, since I'm living in what amounts to a room my grandparents use for storage my snow leopard-ness is not amused. People, however usually do a double take because they're like "OMG BIRD!!' since my parrot takes over the space much more than I do.

Ideal room would be open, well lit with a big pile of blankets and pillows in one corner, with hardwood floors and forrest green paint. Also of course need lotsa storage but I don't like clutter so save for storage, bird cage and bird stuff and my pc---nothing else except a few decorations/posters. Also---must have wonderful tribal music on it background  :D

I'd love to have a room fit for my fursona, but I don't think I can do that until I'm living on my own or with my boyfriend who's also a fur. For my room to be fit for my fursona, half of the floor would be a patch of tall, soft grass so I can read and write in it, there would be trees coming through the walls and floors, and my bed would look like a burrow, even with a little hole for an entrance :)

While not exactly fit for my fursona, my room still stands out quite a bit. It's completely blue and has a border of fish swimming near the ceiling (it circles my entire room) My drapes are also blue with more fish on them, and I have plastic cutouts of random undersea creatures places on my walls. This would be perfect if I say, lived underwater...which I don't :P The only other noticeable thing is the random placement of my plushies. You casually walk in and see them nicely placed on my dresser and bed frame, then turn around and go  :o when you see the giant back corner of my room with something like 80 different animals, ranging from beanie-baby size to giant hugable plushies. It's literally a depression in the wall so you can't see it from the doorway.

My room's almost fit for a furry...definitely plenty of soft toys lying around (...plenty), blankets, a couple of fox pictures and plenty of other animal ones...all I need to perfect it is one big soft, fluffy, dark orange carpet that would be fit to sleep on.

yip.

My room isn't that furry at the moment as I live in student accommodation, the most I have is some animal posters up on the wall (some of which are hand drawn by me). Which is a shame.... But the mess suits me...

Not everything in my bedroom is furry/animal-related. Either way, apart from my plushies, I have a wolf-themed mink blanket on my bed, two 3D pictures (also of wolves), one beside my bed and the other in my en-suite bathroom, a statuette of a howling wolf on a shelf above my desk, and two Alpha & Omega figures beside it.

I don't have a very furry room, as I live with my parents and they have yet to know about my furriness. But when I get my own place, it will be more furry. Not an overwhelming furry theme, but enough that I like it and another furry would say, "Hey, this is a cool place ya got here."

I don't have any pics of my dorm room handy, but I have a few of my room at home.  This (http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7066/6990541727_b233463d46_b.jpg) is a picture of my stereo, wall, and window woodwork, and this (http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7176/6844417682_e11300cdaf_b.jpg) is a more detailed picture of a different section of my walls.

That room used to have several pieces of artwork and plushies in various places around the room, but those are now making my dorm room look less like that of an unusually well furnished asylum.  I really don't get why they choose to paint all of the walls a pure white.  Colored paint isn't that much more expensive, and even something such as a very pale blue would make the room less bland...

My room is cozy, but so full of stuff its not funny. My entire walls are covered with basically a giant collage of stuff.. drawings, lots of zombies, posters, signs (a stop sign and a mph sign), printouts of various foxes and dragons. My bed and closet are full of plushies, my tail hangs proudly near my scarf/hat rack, and I have blue and rainbow Christmas lights hung around the room. My window is covered with a big tie dye rainbow curtain, and I have some paisely curtains hung around my bed, and a string of rainbow faygo bottles (my fave soda) strung across. A sketchtable takes of half my room, covered in art of furries and zombies, and my dragon miniatures are scattered throughout the room. I have an evil troll statue that I drew all over in a corner, wearing my golden sparkly top hat, and an amp, a bass, and two guitars.

My room is peaceful and calm. I often get compliments from friends on the atmosphere of it. I have a lot of wolf things, though my fursona is not a wolf. I also have a lot of fur, because I love it <3 and I also work with it (sometimes) outside of being a furry in my art projects. Wolves have an importance to me outside of the furry community, so I think it is acceptable to have lots of it. Being a fox-cat, my cat side demands somewhere huge, comfortable, and fun place to sleep, nap, rest, read, play video games, etc. I always require my bed to be somewhat near or under a window for sun spots or a nice breeze (when possible). To this day, Luna likes to think she has the most comfortable bed ever. My room is a mixture of...me. Not all based on my fursona, but more of who I am as a whole. A circle.

This is a picture I took of my bed at one point for a "photo of the day" thing I was doing.

I've got a 46 inch water buffalo horn in my room, along with a ringtail cat pelt and a red morph coyote pelt (all humanely/morally/ethically/legally obtained, no comments please if you don't like it). I also have a whole bunch of blankets and a ton of pillows on my bed. I like to make myself a little nest/cave to sleep in all nice and fuzzy and warm.

I pretty much sleep on my floor, except when I am forced to sleep on my bed. My desk is where I keep my notebooks and my picture. I also have a huge wolf blanket that I use when it is cold,  cause its furry, and a build-a-bear wolf in a leather jacket that I use as a pillow.I pretty much sleep buried under all my stuffed animals, with no space except a breathing hole.

My current room has a minimalistic feel. I have a small room, maybe 12' x 8', just by looking at the walls. One corner has a reading chair that's mostly used for chucking my school bag and jacket on, a big bookcase that is full to the brim with books, board games, and random trinkets like my binoculars and junk box of electronic components. On one side of my bookcase I have a small drawer that looks like a bedside table, and on the other I have my clothes hamper. I have a fan by my chair for when it was too hot at night, that I haven't gotten around to moving out of my room. My window and my closet have long, dark grey curtains on them, which block out all of the light in my room; I prefer to have the curtains closed and my computer lamp on rather than use natural light. I have a futon bed, which can change between a 100 degree couch, a 135/145 degree lounge couch, and a 180 degree bed in a snap. I have 8 pictures in a random shape on my wall, all of them sizable (8" x 11" prints in 1' by 1' 4" frames) but one, which is a 8" x 8" frame around the one picture I actually took. All of the others are pictures that my mom took, with my assistance.

The wall with my pictures and bookcase is dark grey, the other two with my closet and window are blood red.

In the future, I want to hang the recurve bows I get on the wall. :)

My room is quite dark-looking, especially now in the Fall-Winter when I have my black comforter out. The small rug is black, and the curtains are as well so I can actually sleep. I have several small dragon statues on display, as well as various other figurines. There are several small baskets full of soft toys, mostly stuffed animals (including a buttload of cows!) but also a few Pokemon and anime toys. My current "most-prized" plushies are on my bed, including my beloved camel, Creambo, and a huge Charizard, among others. My large plushies are on top of the wardrobe (which is full of drawings and junk).  My tv is on a small entertainment center by my door, which is also full of books and anime dvds. In the closet, I have my clothes (wow!), plus a bunch of manga and my plastic wolf and unicorn masks. I don't like things to be on the walls, so I have only a wildlife calendar up. Also, there's a bunch of junk in random places that I'm too lazy to put in the proper spot...

Best of all, I have two live animals in my room! Two cages on separate sides of the room, one for each of my ferrets. Having them in here gives my room and everything in it a nice ferrety smell. I personally love the smell of ferrets, but some people...not so much xD

I dunno if my room is "fit for a furry," but it sure is fit for me.

My bedroom is small and cozy, and is also the warmest room in the house.  :)

Cats like small, cozy, warm spaces. So I guess my room would be good for a feline fursona. Some days I wake up and both of the cats are in my room.

I don't have a bunch of posters or other obviously furry things. My computer desktop has a tiger wallpaper right now though. I also have a blanket with a picture of a wolf on it. That's about it.

Regarding the pictures from earlier in this topic... I miss Faygo! Stores here don't sell that stuff.

I recently moved, So you can bet that when I have a chance to paint my walls, They'll be absolutely covered in dragons! :D
Im also planning to get lots of dragon and reptile stuff when I get the chance :) Does anyone know of any good shops or websites that make animal themed furniture and stuff?

My room is not really that furry. I basically just have my furry comics, and my Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit plushies as book ends for the shelf. I also have a couple of Oswald ears that I will wear at Disneyland if I go. Other than that, no furries items really. Though I do want to put up my Ratchet and Clank poster... just need a frame.

As far as just art that is not based off of some sort of published character I have none.

Over the last year or so, my room has become more and more furry. Interestingly, this is is largely due my parents; they keep buying/giving me things with animals on them - wolf blanket, plushies, knick knacks of animals, wolf calendar last year, etc.  :D

I'm really not sure what a furry themed room would even look like unless there was furry art all over the walls. If you choose to decorate based on your chosen species then it wouldn't really be furry, but more like a fox den or roost or whatever.

My fursona is me so there really is no difference between us. I love the way my room looks right now, but there are definitely changes I would make, like painting the walls a royal purple and decorating with Victorian era style pieces and art all over the walls. But that wouldn't really be a furry themed room. Not in my opinion.

My room is always messy.  The shelves are more steampunk when they have a theme, and the onlt poster I have is an old diagram of the human heart and circulatory system (it looks cool and I love biology), but recently I started making tails, so I have a nice pile of faux fur sitting around.

Currently, no.  :P  However, when we get our own place, we will probably have a sort of cave for a room. We don't like the sun, and we don't mind a mess, so it really will resemble a cave somewhat.  :D

My room is ordinary >:( (Though neater then most people my age :P)
I would like to put up pictures I've drawn of my fursona or maybe add a chair and fill that with soft fluffy things to curl up in?
My bed is against the wall and has pillows all along that side and against the opposite side it has a mattress(I can't sleep without it :P I feel too exposed otherwise x_x)
My curtains are a dark-ish blue that black out the street lamps and every other light.
I would say Scar would love my room (But I would need to add what was stated above  :))

EDIT: On 29/06/13

I have put the mattress back under my bad and now all the pillows form a cosy little nook I can sleep in <3
I am still working on getting the pictures of Scar on my walls but I have now got a Doctor Who poster up :)

I think one of the most important things you can have is books, even if they are not directly connected to furry. I have some books about werewolves and shape shifters (I don't have Twilight) but I haven't had the time to finish reading them. I have not been able to decorate my room either but I would love to have animal posters and pictures on the wall, maybe even plushies sitting on the bookshelf. I just can't wait to have my room decorated. I hate these empty white walls! I want moar!  >:(

My room is most certantly not fit for a furry. We have a rat problem, which has caused a flea problem. No amount of decorating can fix that.

My room is VERY strange, the walls are decorated with die-cast, my desk, night stand, dresser, and bookshelf are decorated with die-cast and model aircraft, and a rc Helo. Anybody that's never been in my room before always ask me why am I obsessed with cars.

I know it's a little off topic, but the question was, is your room out of the oridinary.

Since I live with my parents and don't want them to know I'm furry/etc, my room is pretty vanilla - bed, desk (well kind of... makeshift), wardrobe (got a couple of animal-related shirts), lamp, drawers, door, window, etc. I have some small-ish plushies that I've retained from when I was younger... But nothing really that could pin me as furry-ish or eccentric (apart from some star trek ship models on my ceiling which are from when I was a bit younger; also used to have a couple of dragon ornaments, though, think there's only one in there now).

Well I've since moved so i might as well describe our new digs! Being in a basement, it works very very well for our needs. The walls are painted a deep, deep red, the bed's matching to a degree. We have various pieces of my artwork as well as others' work on the walls but not plastered. Tastefully laid out is certainly more suiting. Our fursuit heads are up on a shelf amongst other little trinkets from our travels. The lighting is constantly kept rather dim and is via LED strips running through the ceiling. To answer the question? A few it might make heads turn, however our room is a direct reflection of my mate and I and who we are :)

My room at the moment is far too small and my fursona would hate living in it. I literally have only two paths in my room. One path leads to my television and closet, while the other path leads to the bathroom (which happens to be in my room). And if ONE thing happens to be out of place, the entire room looks like a hurricane had hit it.

Well, having my parents divorced has lead me to have two rooms... one of which would make most people think twice, but not because its furry.  in fact, at my dad's house, i basically have my own one -room house, about 50% than the average living room.  running water, microwave, fridge.  i buy my own food, and basically live in the second house in the backyard (We have a double lot on the corner, a house bought by my grandpa way back when...) and it's a great place for parties!  at my moms, i have a drab and boring camo themed room, with simple metal furniture.  it's absolutely perfect to me, except it gets a little stuffy in there sometimes... my collection of plush animals has slowly shrunk over the years, but i still have good amount.  a big manta ray, moray eel, some crabs, a fox and a platypus; i even have a plush horseshoe crab.  Oh yeah, and i have at least 3000$ worth of Legos... the combination of my dad's, my uncle's, and my own...  um, yeah... i can't think cuz i'm tiered, so ima go to sleep now...

Hehe I have a TON of furry pics on my walls, and the room itself is far too cluttered. But then again it's like a little dragon cave, with earthy colors for the walls and a small sort of space. And thus, I love my room. :)

My room is a relaxing ocean theme but I have a lot of my furry drawings on the wall and not to mention my legos and hundreds upon hundreds of video games, a bunch of animal figurines with a fair few raccoons, and quite a few mementos from my life and times but best of all, I have a big drawing of Blades next to my bed so when I wake up, I see a reflection of myself.

well my fursona which is pretty much me just as and anthro arctic folf so the way my room now is just like any other room. but the room i would like would have a TV, desk, computer, bed, LED lights, cabinets, i could do all that just that it is easier to have my computer down stairs and would have to do with no LEDs. also i would need to think about how to set it up since 2 walls are not useable in my room (one wall has closets, other has the door.

I'm an anthropology/archaeology student, so I've got a good number of stone hammers and axes and various obsidian points that I made on my shelves. Flintknapping is fun!

Other than that, I've got a ton of skulls, bones, and pelts on shelves and draped across things.

I don't have a "Furry" themed room, aside from the fox plush my boyfriend got me ^^. I am proud of what I have done with my little space, though. I managed to get a lot into it. Feel free to ask what things are. I have some weird stuff :P

Also, please pardon the mess. I have not cleaned this week I am a complete slob. :P

My room isn't particularly furry, aside from the bits of faux fur lying around, and perhaps the fox figurine my mom gave me.
It's a bit of a mess, but it's not too bad.  I found the white-washed walls of the place a little to similar to a prison cell (it is a dorm room), so I hung up some plastic vines and leaves to improve the ambience a bit.
