Title: China's coronavirus statistics?
Post by: Kobuk on April 04, 2020, 11:07:28 pm
Is China lying about the number of coronavirus cases it has had since December when it first broke out in that country and the number of deaths it has had?

Or are their statistics and other information accurate and to be believed?

China's population is approximately 1,430,000,000 billion people. But if you look at the coronavirus stats here from this site:
https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/map.html

Nearly 83,000 were infected.
Nearly 77,000 recovered.
And about 5,000 or more died.

I just find it odd that China has such a large population, but yet so "few" were infected and died? Granted, maybe it wasn't as bad as it could have been thanks to China's "draconian" quarantine measures. But something just doesn't add up and I feel suspicious. Could China have lied about their statistics? Could they have also lied about how devastating this virus is? Are they not disclosing the full truth about how this virus started? Other countries around the world are suffering far worse than China. Why aren't China's numbers much higher?

Yes.  Humans are all the same.  We are one species.
So after reading the stats like you did,  I too am left wondering what's up?  Why is China not like Italy?  Why is America seemingly on track with Italy?

Maybe it was the draconian measures of welding doors shut on a home/ apartment so no one can leave.  Idk.

I do know that so far older men who smoke a lot or have breathing problems are at highest risk.  But not by many points.

I personally use 91-divoc website... Google it.
I use the site 2 times a week.

Maybe the coronavirus did come from a Chinese lab? Hmmm?
