Another GOP member with Trump's support lost an election. More proof that
Trump's supporters generally fail to vote for people he tells them to. A big test of
this is the election of Trump's man as the governor of Virginia in 2022.
We can be sure if Trump's man wins, Trump will make a big deal of it, and it's proof he can win in 2024. Of course if he fails, we can be sure Trump will claim it was another election that had to be rigged. Trump had planned to claim this in
2016, but when he won he said nothing more about it.
Hopefully Trump's man loses because he was one of Trump's men during his time
in the White House, and will likely turn Virginia over to the far right to benefit
Trump.
People need to realize Trump cares nothing for anyone but himself. When
he speaks at a rally, he is nothing but a professional manipulator. Using his
ability to gain support with his lies. If Trump wasn't such a lazy lying coward, and
so self centered, he could have made a fairly reasonable president. But then he
wouldn't have been Trump. Everyone connected to Trump knows this of Trump, but
see him as a golden goose. They follow him hoping to use him for political
gain. Not counting any golden eggs he might give them.
I think part of Trump's attraction is his money. People have a habit of chasing
rich people, with the hope some of their riches will rub off on them. The sad thing
with Trump he is a loser who takes advantage of anyone that will listen to his lies. Then when they need him, just like all con artist he is gone.
I fear if he an the GOP regain power, this country could end up being an autocracy
with Trump as an autocratic leader. I am sure his followers would like to see this,
but will wish they never heard of Trump in the end. Because due to his ignorance,
he will hand the country over to his rich friends. People who care nothing for
anything but riches, no matter who they hurt getting richer and richer. Just
look at Russia if you wish to see where we are going. Trump would love to be the
first trillionaire, and like Putin of Russia he will force his rich friends
to give him much of their riches, and they won't be able to stop him.
Trump loved his power to pardon his friends, but what he really wanted was the
power to imprison those he didn't like. Especially his political enemies, and if he
gains autocratic power, that is just what he will do. The sad thing is many of his
supporters seem to think this would be a good thing. Well I have a hunch the first
time Trump put someone in jail they liked, their support would begin to disappear.
But by then it would be too late to stop Trump, their lord and master.
The only thing that kept him from keeping the White House is because the
military would not support his attempted take over, and if he becomes president
again. We can be sure he will do all he can to gain full control of the military. It's
control of the military that keeps all autocratic leaders in power, and I am sure
Trump's autocratic acquaintances have told him this.
