Title: unable to access irc

Here is the following message that I get when I try to access irc.

I'm not the only one experiencing this problem. Mitch also gets this exact same message and we are both in Australia.

I have version 7 update 51 of java for both the 32 and 64 bit versions. It appears that the irc needs the 32 bit version to run though. (Google chrome asked me to install the 32 bit version even though I already had the 64 bit version installed)

This problem has been happening for a while and I finally bothered making a post about it. I have also tried using port 80 and 81 and I get the same message.

Do you have the latest version of java (http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_manual.jsp?locale=en) installed?

If its an option, I would also recommend seeing if you can install an IRC client

If you use firefox/waterfox, you can use chatzilla which is merely an addon for those browsers, but provides a full featured almost terminal-styled client. There are plenty of stand-alone clients too.

Just tried out Waterfox. It's interesting ^.^ I wish Firefox has an easy way to view internet history like Google chrome (there's probably a plugin). Oh well. At least it's as fast as Chrome :) (should be a little faster)
