Alex stood, and watched as the others left to see to a problem. Where's everyone going he thought to himself.

At that exact moment a new voice graced his ears. He looked to the hatch to see a young tiger in the entryway. Trustor quickly jumped in, and cordialy introduced both himself, and Alex to the new face. Alex just stood and waved.

"Definately not what I was expecting", he said to Trustor. "From what I've read I thought the Avari would be something special, but they look...well normal".

Alex heard heavy footsteps headed towards them from one of the corridors. It was Jadnar and it looked like he was on the warpath, something had seriously ticked him off. He demanded what was going on. Alex decided to step in and update what he had missed.

"Uhh..well one of the Avari stopped by and says welcome to Eravia. He also said something 'bout bad gravity, and you look miffed what the hell was going on back there? Never mind I'm going for a shower. You coming Trustor?" He didn't wait for an answer, as he ran on ahead.

Trustor tilted his head with a friendly smile as he tried to best read the social constructs of the new Avari visitor. “Uh... Hi.”, the Avari spoke in a friendly less formal and friendly manner. Trustor began wagging his tail to try and match the Avari’s demeanor then quickly corrected himself with a return bow at the Avari’s change in posture.

Trustor smiled. The individual seemed a little bit nervous but seemed to be a nice enough fellow. “Thank you again Avari.”, he continued, “I see the captain has returned.” Trustor nodded speaking to the Avari as the cat was leaving, “I will endeavor to hurry so as not to keep you waiting to long.”

Trustor tilted his head to Alex at the wolf’s reply speaking, “Appearances are often mistaken for ability.” Trustor thought continuing to speak, “To often we trust our sight.”

Trustor turned to Jadnar a little surprised by the very intensity of the equines demeanor. Trustor’s ears went to the sides not sure of Jadnar’s reactions dictated non-interaction. Karathian protocol was strict discipline to ranking officers and even though Jadnar was not Karathian his actions/position did dictate Trustor felt deserved authority.

Trustor addressed Jadnar in a plain, clear, and informative tone as if speaking to one of his officers he had done so many times before, “During the time of your interaction with the new visitor the Avari have sent greetings and welcomes the Kalga’s crew to the planet Eravia.”, he continued, “The ambassador currently waits for us at the end of Dock 4.” Trustor nodded to Jadnar as he watched Alex take off, “If there are no requests or orders I shall proceed post haste at Kalga’s directions with Alex and any others who wish to follow to quickly clean and prepare before we offload vessel Sir.”

The information in the multipul forms was slightly overwhelming and caught me off guard.

Trustor's form of communication was what really caught me off guard. His voice... the way he acted, was as if he was talking to a supiriour. I've watched enough of those cheezy holovids to know something was clicking in that canine's head... something tells me this wasn't going to be working the way I had it in mind.

Interaction with the new comer... I'll show them interaction...

Taking a deep breath, I answered in as much of a steady voice as I could manage, "Fist, I am not a captain. I am a friend, to kalga, I do not own this ship, I do not order it, I only agree with it.

With that in mind, I do not give orders, nor requests. Only what is allowed. Kalga makes sure of that, by closeing up entrences and corridors, restricting access. At the moment, there isn't much you can go to. Kalga is sleeping and will be sleeping for at least a week, which means I'm stuck here.

Secoundly, Ambassador? That was an ambassador? Damn... So much for first contacts. I wish Kalga had given me a picture of these people. I'll go out and meet it then. Go and do what ever it is you need to do. Just... don't hurt Kalga."

With all that said, I headed down the tunnel towards where the Avari apperently headed.

I saw the brightly lit station entrence ahead, Though not before I got to it, Me feet were swept out from under me, causing me to flip and nearly roll down the rest of the ramp. Using a bit of telekinetics, I was able to stop my roll and nearly float back to my feet. Face to face with the Avari.

Taking a few steps back, I bowed with as much elegance as I could afford given my outburst, and awkward entrence.

"Please forgive me for my reaction to your apperence. I had some nasty bussiness that I had to contend with which had much to do with the very life of my Friend...Kalga."

Terastas smiled and waved back to Trustor as he walked backwards, now feeling a little more at ease. "It is no problem. Take all the time that is required."

Time was hardly an issue for him. Like all Avari, he had spent a few hundred years doing nothing but meditating. As a result, they are not impatient or bored easily.

He backed up against the wall to get out of Jandar's way during his unusal exit. He offered Jandar a hand getting up, then retracted it when he saw he was capable himself.

"It... It is not a problem," said Terastas, a little troubled by Jandar's formality, but still returning the bow. "Stress would be expected even of the elders under such circumstances. And you need not be so formal with me. I was chosen to welcome you by my people only because I had the shortest distance to travel here." He took a few steps back. "If there is anything the Avari can do for you, you need only-"

He stopped talking when he stepped on the rotator... While walking backwards.

Vrrrrrr-CHK!

This time he went quite airborne, appearing to Jandar as if launched off the side of a cliff. He landed flat on his back in the station's gravity, looking up at the elevator, upside-down by his perspective.

"Wow!" the coordinator laughed. "Hey Terry, do cats ever land on their feet?!"

Terry sighed and stood back up. "As you can see, the station's use of artificial gravity is a little bit distorted," he explained to Jandar. "That bar I just stepped on is called a rotator. If you step on it, you will be locked onto its gravity, then rotated to coordinate with the station's. Its a fast process though, so don't let it catch you off guard."

Quirking my eyebrow I looked at the rotator. It looked simple enough, and seeing it in action, I figured I could do the same thing, without having to go through the trouble of having to catch myself.

Lifting myself up from the ground on my own, I slowly pushed myself foward, then feeling the change in the gravity pull, I turned myself, letting one foot touch down, then the other. Now reorientated to the station's gravity, I didn't have to worry about falling about.

"For a set of people whom have great power, I'm surprised you haven't learned telekinetics, I would think they'd be very useful in situations such as this."

Looking about the room, I spied the coordinator, whom appeared to be the only other person in here. Nodding I spoke towards her, "Thank you for guiding us in here. Unfortunatly Kalga has just fallen asleep and won't be able to respond to anything. It's going to be asleep for about a week, which means your docking port here, is going to be plugged up with the biomass till Kalga is done resting. If this causes any sort of problums, I would be willing to reciprocate with whatever I can offer to you."

After talking to the Coordinator, I turned back to the Avari, "Information on the Kal'tak Would be greatly appreciated. From what I have seen of it, The race is quite powerful. Kalga's reaction to it wasn't too good in it's self. I have a feeling that The Kal'tak's presence will not hault at the Relpine sector either, which means more worlds, and more stations are going to be at risk. They are new here, and we have absolutly no clue about them. Except that they have exceptionaly strong psycic abilities, as shown in Kalga, and various other telepaths.
I hate to say it, but even with your Race the Kal'tak may very well be very powerful."

Terastas marveled as Jandar pretty much hovered through the altering feilds of gravity. What he said troubled him though. Why did these people believe the Avari possessed great power?

"I... We really have no power at all," said Terastas, looking down at his footpaws as he spoke. "Only what the elders provide us with."

Meanwhile, the coordinator was staring at the window at the Kalga. Somehow the way Jandar had phrased it had lead her to believe Kalga was on his way in. She said nothing, but the look in her eyes pretty much said what would be on anyone's mind if they suggested such.

"I couldn't tell you much about the Kal'Tak either though." He shrugged. "I felt a great disturbance while I was meditating, so I prayed with the rest of my people to guide those in need of aide to the safety of Eravia." He closed his eyes with a sigh. "That's all I can tell you..."

He took a deep breath, then straightened up and met Jandar's eyes. "Of course, you and your crewmen are more than welcome to return with me back to the Monastery, should the elders permit it, which I am sure they will. There are many more Avari that know so much more of the world than I do. If they cannot answer your questions, then I will pray for answers for as long as your companion must rest." He bowed his head. "Avari's honor to my word."

He turned away from Jandar, padded away a few steps, and whispered to himself:

"Kieta sa amtan..."

Trustor’s ears twitched sideways a little taken aback from Jadnar’s annoyance at his understanding. Hurt the Kalga?, Trustor thought felt almost insulting. Trustor paused and nodded with a sincere smile to Jadnar. Trustor knew this day had been very very hard for more than just him and it was his responsibility to not make it worse. “Understood Jadnar friend of Kalga.”, Trustor spoke, “I am grateful to you both and I will be very careful not to injure your dear friend.”

Trustor watched Jadnar leave then rushed to catch up with Alex.

Sighing, I slowly looked over the insides of the station. It wasn't much, I admit. I've seen more complex stations in my time. The effiency in their artifical gravity was astonishingly low. It is a wonder that they haven't revamped the whole thing and start from scratch.

"No power? I've known no other race that can create a slipstream, I've known no other race that can protect their planet from a simple prayer. Your use of the way is far more disiplined, far more advanced then any race that I have ever seen."

My eyes then met with the coordinator, looking out at the mass of the Kalga. She looked troubled in more ways then one. I'll have to talk to her, not many understand Kalga as I have grown to over the years.

"The Kal'tak are very well not part of this galaxy. Kalga said it its self. I just wonder how they got here, and why.

I may very well take you up on your offer, after that you get permission from your elders. I have no wish to tresspass upon lands of which I'm am unwelcomed. The answers will come, be it from here, or from other places. Until then, a great deal of caution must be taken." Bowing my head back towards the Avari, I made my way to the controller.

"By the look on your face, you must have many questions as to what, who and why Kalga is. Correct?"

I looked over the tavern of sorts as I walked towards it. The windows shown brightly with the light from within, shadows of people moving around inside. Well, if there is some sort of game going on inside, there doesn't seem to be that much movment... that's if the game involves punches.

Quickning my pace I readied my mind to try to see if I could hold anyone in place before anything else happened. Though how long I would be able to hold them, I wasn't sure, quite tired.

I placed my hand on the door handle, then taking a deep breath, I whipped it open. Quickly looking over the room, I saw a few people with mean looks on their faces, our small mob, and a few what looked to be bystanders. No one looked poised to do damage to anyone, so I relaxed my mind, though still holding a bit of energy in reserve incase I needed it. I held the door open for Vernon.

Alex stood within a lukewarm turrent of water. He sighed loosening up. It felt good to be clean again.

"Serifa...Repine both of them are gone. Now we're stranded here on Eravia for about a week. I've never been this far from home before"
Alex smiled "At least I'll be able to take in some foreign culture for once".

A sudden noise startled him. "Who's there...Trustor that you?" No reply came. He then laughed at himself for being so on edge, but turned his back to the entrance all the same.

OOC: hey all.
My characters name is Gorbin, but first some histroy and theator.

IC:The Humaphytes are known only as farie tales to the oldest known races of this and other Galaxies. Farie tales of old trees telling stories about the Galaxy when it was quiet, and empty.
No one has heard a tree talk in over 2000 Mehraks.
Today that will change, for Mahra the world of the Humaphytes is about to re-enter the Space Ways.

Come this way I have something to show you. See that planet, the dark green one over there. The one with white caps. You see now, good. Come closer see now that it has no ocean. That every foot of land is covered in forest, even the tops of mountains. Can you see how on the mountain top trees live covered in frost year round. Yes? Good. Come I have more to show you, see that valley shrouded to mist. Go under the tree tops, look around. It looks like any forest on any planet, right? Wrong, take a closer look, can you see how it all looks like the work of a master gardener. Good, your paying attention. What’s that? You hear something, that is something you would not hear in a normal forest. I hear it to. Let’s go fined it. Oops did you hit you foot on something, yes you hit a railing. What is railing doing sooo far up here, well you got to have something for safety. Come on lets go. There see it. That meadow, with wind blowing threw the grass. That is where the Thumping is coming from. The sound is deafening, as you get closer you see, its not gress blowing in the wind, but people. Green people, there must be 100,000 of them. Green people with 4 arms, of all shapes, and sizes. Green people with big eyes, big ears, and big feet. Dancing to a tribals beat, that is so powerful, so strong the leaves hundreds of feet above bounce to the beat.
Off to the side you can behold a most strange sight. A tree 50 ft. tall, with a face. This tree is smiling, and swaying in time with the beat. With a jurk it stops, as if listening.
 BE STILL!
Bellows Jurpitem the Pre-elder. Children it is time, very soon we will be apart of the Grate Spider Web again. Drummers, Dancers, People all. Let the message be sent The Humaphyte are back. With that the music starts again, somehow even louder.

Some History:
Mahra was dying of old age with no hopes of it living again. The Humapytes created a machine that could revive the planet, and make it young again. They were successful, but during that time, the planet's way connection had to be... 're-newd' , which took 2 thousand merheks for The Way (Magic)
to be strong enough to reconnect Mahra to the Space ways.
A unseen consequence was the death of every Humaphyte under the age of 990 mehraks and Rooters over 50 Mh. With only a handful of Pre-elders who could talk to the Elders, the Humaphytes have lost a lot.
You see Humaphytes have already exsplored this and many other Galaxys, a long time ago. There are very old Elders on worlds throwout the Galaxy, just nobody recognizes them.

Trustor took off his pack and slung it over his shoulder as he walked down the hall following the directions Kalga had given him. It was quiet for the first time in a while. The dog felt a sort of decompression of relief and unsettled emptiness as he walked down the hall and he wondered how long it would last.

There was the sounds of splashing up ahead and Trustor smiled. “Ahh, Alex found the baths already!”, he thought. Trustor picked up some speed and turned the corner. It was a room with several large water filled basins. Trustor noticed Alex already comfortable in a basin and spoke up, “Hey good find!” “So how’s the water?” Trustor’s tail wagged as he got a awny silly grin. “One sure way to find out I suspect....”, Trustor said as he chucked off his clothes. Taking a couple steps Trustor leaped into the basin next to Alex. “Cannon Ball!!”, he shouted as Trustor sent a wave splashing over towards Alex. Trustor came up laughing. “Oh my poor belly!”, Trustor chuckled holding his stomach, “That could of been a bit better.” He leaned back against his basin and breathed out a sigh of relief. Stretching out his arms Trustor closed his eyes feeling the water run down the wet fur of his face. “If only it could last... but it feels good now.”, Trustor smiled talking over at Alex.

Alex ears perked up at the sound of footsteps. This time someone was coming down the corridor. Within minutes there stood Trustor inspecting the room. "You made it. Come on in. It's pretty warm".

Just as Alex answered his question, Trustor lept in, and Alex was engulfed by a huge tidal wave of bathwater. Once Alex had resurfaced, Trustor was laughing heartliy. Alex was stifling his own laughter, but suddenly began laughing as well. "A perfect bellyflop", he snickered.

Alex sighed deeply, and sank slightly into the basin. "Yeah, I know what you mean. Good things never seem to last very long".

The coordinator took one look out the window at the Kalga, pondering over that question.

"You know... If its okay with you, I think I'd rather just leave that to mystery." She looked out the window again. "Er... Besides sleep, does it need, like, fuel or anything?"

"Mmm.. It takes in food as by it's own definition. It 'eats' various materials from space as it moves through it, hydrogen, dust particals, it even uses the electromagnetic feilds from planets and stars. I'm not sure how Kalga proccesses it, but it takes in the items quite. It doesn't seem to have prefrence or anything. Everynow and then if we pass through an astroid belt it would actually consume the astroids instead of going through them, I think that is where much of it's mass comes from. Nebulas are fine as well, though it's not as thick as it would like." Shrugging I gazed out the window at Kalga as well. Some would consider it ugly, and quite disgusting, but personally I find it beutiful. A one of a kind vessel, besides it's counterpart as we had encountered long ago. I wonder how well it is doing now.

Neither Terastas nor the coordinator had conisdered the Kalga ugly. It was just so unusual compared to the small metallic transports that typically only brought fuel or an occassional hippie hoping to pick up a softcover version of the Avari's teachings ('become one with the universe in 30 days or less guaranteed!' was a common joke about them). To say the Kalga was unique would be an understatement.

The coordinator took all of this in, though might have appeared to be nodding off. "So it just has to stay here a week?" She shrugged. "Okay, we can do that." She looked over at Terastas, still keeping his back to them as he tried to concentrate. "It certainly is an interesting ship, aint' it Terry? Might make for an interesting lesandria, don't you think?"

Terry looked up and turned toward her. "First of all, I am not called Terry. I am Terastas of the Monastery and I..." He paused, eyes blinking. "My lesandria?"

Terastas, that's his name. I'll have to keep that for later use. At the mention of a lesandria I quickly looked towards Terastas for the defention of it from his reaction, but it had appeared he didn't seem to know it either.

I then looked back at the coordinator, hopeing that she'd elaborate on her statment. Could of been anything from presteige, to something... It sounded familer though.

Trustor kept his eyes closed as he listened to Alex and spoke, “Yeah, change is true.” He continued, “You know I can’t say I’ve experienced a whole lot of it, living you know.”

“But I think living is like being a lighting bug.”, Trustor said with a grin. “Like a chance in the night.”, “Sometimes a little longer sometimes shorter.”, “Each one a miracle because it has a chance to glow.”, Trustor said sinking into the tub a little and closing his eyes to feel the water.

Zairith lay there thinking, the face of this bear looked extremely familiar. It was mkaing him uncomfortable. More uncomfortable then he had felt for a very long time.

It seemed that everything was going wrong. He was back on the station he had just stolen his most recent piece of information from, he hwas face to face with someone who obviously recognised him and was bringing back something that, since he couldn't remember, Zairith would obviously rather forget. He had just found the most incredible ship ever and he had been told he couldn't try to tap into it, and thati was sleeping? whatever that menat. His ship had blown up, the ship he had been on had blown up, all in all it was turning out to be a very very bad day. The shock from the bear's arm had not been pleasent either. He was usually so good at these things and now he was just getting everything wrong.

"Look, I don't know who you are, just...get off."

He didn't know what it was, whether he just caught the bear off balance or the bear hadn't been concentrating for a second, but what happened shouldn't have happened. He managed to move the bear enough so that he oculd roll out and stand, with that, he didn't even look back he just ran out of the hanger, through the door and watched as it closed behind him. He stood there for am oment, wondering what the hell he was oging to do now, there was no ship, they were docked at a station and he'd already annoyed (he oculd htink of a nother word for hit but he wasn't going to voice it incase the ship wasl istening) He looked behind him at the large solid oor and decided that it would be a good idea not to be there when the bear came through it, juust in case. He picked a corridor and ran, if there was anything he was good at running at become it. His ears twitched this way and that and his muzzle flooded with the scents of the ship, the metal, the sweat and the scent of the one who had just been in the hanger, he followed it, if he had gone this way then it must lead to somewhere important. Well that was his reasoning, not fantastic perhaps, but hey, he was having a bad day, why stop now.

He took a turn and ended up in....What was this place? it looked like the hub of the ship, the ocmmand centre. ONly he didn't have a clue as to the controls, there didn't seem to be many and he was reluctant to start plugging himself int othe computers incase he was told that he was hurting the guy's friend again. So he just stood there looking around. The ships 'friend's' scent seemed to leave this room and go towards....somewhere.

((Sorry if I didn't include the people that are in the command centre, I'm not sure where everyone is. So if yiou are in the CC then I'm sorry '<img'>)

The coordinator kept looking back and forth from Jandar and Terastas, waiting for one of them to speak.

"What?" she finally asked Terastas. "That's why you're here, isn't it? To enlist with the first ship that came into port?"

"Well... Yes, but..." Terastas exhaled, shaking his head from side to side. "A lesandria is a spiritual journey that an Avari must take in order to put all he has learned to the test. We are a peaceful race, the Avari. All these hundreds of years, I have meditated on nothing but the nature of peace and prosperity." He looked out the window at the Kalga. "But the Kalga is going to war, isn't it? And I can't fight; all they trained me at the Monastary to do is dodge, disarm, and run." He shook his head. "It would be against everything we stand for. And even so, what use would I be?"

The coordinator shrugged. "Don't know. I just figured your lesandria and the floating captain's mission here were pretty muc the same thing: A quest for peace. And who knows. A race of evil aliens plowing through the universe causing mayham wherever they go? If there's even a slight chance that you could get them to drop their guns and hug somebody, wouldn't that be a lesandria you couldn't resist?"

Terastas's eyes blinked, then looked over at Jandar.

War? Is that what they were already calling it? How long will this last?

"I'm not a captain. Just Friends with Kalga. We agree on where we go, there is no commanding. We are partners, not military drones. Our quest is peaceful as well.

The Kal'tak are something to just dodge and disarm. No. They are far too powerful for that. If you simply run, they'll destroy your world. You can listen to the space ways, just as Kalga can. You felt the distrubence. Their ways also attack the spaceways, not just the planets that make it. They can attack the mind, push into it, destroy you from the inside out. That is something you can not hide from, that is nothing you can dodge. I can't imagine that a race like yours can stand by idley while the worlds around them fall. What will happen when your world is the only one? You can't defend against metal, you can't fight against them, their minds are too powerful.

Kalga can't fight on it's own. The Kal'tak are already exploiting the fact that non of the clusters are unified, that not even groups of clusters are working together. Each one is isolated from the rest. For that fact, they have already done much damage in the Relpine sector. If you would join us, not only would we have another person, but another eye on the spaceways. If you don't, I can understand. There are many other races out there.

But we must first learn about the Kal'tak. We know nothing. Muchless their reasons for penetrating into our galaxy. For that reason I don't plan on fighting just yet, to fight without reason, nor rhym will not help anyone."

Alex dived down and resurfaced. He listened to Trustor before adding his own opinion.

"Life can be a lot of things", he replied. "It can be something to learn from. Some lessons are easy and some are hard, but you remember them. Or perhaps we're put in the universe cause we have a purpose here. If that's the case I'm still looking for it".

He splashed water up onto his face before turning back to Trustor. "What about you Trustor? Have you any idea what you're purpose is?"

As Alex turned to face the entrance Alex froze. The girl they had picked up was now standing there. "The...little girls room? I think this is it", he responded shyly.
