Jumping out of my room after collecting my jacket and head set, I made a quick reply, "Aye, Sir. Simple Support Run. Will I have assitance from other pilts?"

I then muttered into my head-set, "Fighter start-up, code two zero two delta phi beta, voice print check."

A small voice replied, "Voice print match, remote fighter start up procedures active, minor security locks engaged."

"I doubt it, currently most of our forces are on guard in case we are attacked like we were at the homeworld, and we doubt they'll need heavy protection, we arm almost all of our vessels, civillian or no" Kale smiled, waitingfor more people to show up

OOC: I think Kale is waiting for people to 'assemble' for his little meeting. Until that happens the game can't very well progress.

Murrg had finnished his preporations and sit waiting pationatly for Kale to release him "my helm is still on kales ship" He mused to the wall.

Kale was ready, he activated the interal intercoms to murrgs cell "Were ready to go, the cell door should be releasing now" And the door slid open "Your with me, so theres a tram waiting to take you to my ship, I'll meet you there" and he headed out, motioning for people to follow.

Murrg stood and walked out the door grabing his pack on the way " A tram huh" he said looking around after walking for a bit he found what he assumed was the tram and climed abord sitting down and waiting for the ride to end.

Kale was waiting inside, finishing the pre flight checks, and confirming final details with the transport pilot, when the tram pulled up at the station outside his docking pylon, the Espirit was ready and its ammo was loaded and Kale was impatient to leave.

Havok sighed yet again. He was perched on the edge of his bed looking out into space. He let himself fall onto the bed and put his paws behind his head.

"Where the hell is Kale?" he asked the air, but no reply came to him.

Outside, he heard a tram slide past, but made nothing of it.

"The usual crap, errand boys running their 'vital errands'. Not much happening as usual"

He let his eyes close as the boredom crept in.

Kale finnaly decided to drop off one last message to the dorms "anyone whos coming down to the surface better hurry up and get to my ship before we leave, we dont have much time!"

Havok jumped at the announcement.

"crap!" He shouted as he leapt from the bed and out of the door.

He ran to Simon's room and slammed his arm against the door.

"SIMON! Hurry up! We gotta go! Important stuff!"

He started to head to the tram when another thought crossed his mind.

"Russano!!" Havok thought. "He'll be useful, but where is he?"

Panicning thoughts rushed through his mind. After a minute, he decided that Rusanno would be the first one down there anyway, so he'll most likely be with Kale. He boarded the Tram and made his way to the hanger.

"I just hope Kale doesn't leave without me. I wouldn't miss this for the world"

Running out onto the hanger deck, I quickly passed all the sites that had me bewildered before. I noticed that my fighter had moved, over to some sort of bay. I quickly made for it, finding a set of ladders leading up to a catwalk, which inturn was in the same level as the fighter's cockpit.

I quickly moved up the ladder, and jumped into the cockpit.

"Computer, Status."

"All essential systems are online. Nonessential systems are finishing power up sequences. Vehicle is now at flight status."

"Good, Time to test you out, create a comm link to the Espirit."

"Comm link open."

"Admiral, This is Dragon Breath 1, ready for launch. Startup proccedures are complete."

Pressing several more buttons, and strapping myself into the seat, the cockpit canopy closed. I then began to move the fighter foward, letting it take small steps, before moving a little faster towards the bay's portals.

Havok leapt out of the tram as it stopped. His boots clanged on the metal as he landed. He ran along the line of fighters checking each one for a sign of Kale. While running by one, he spotted a glimpse of Kale. He grinned, placed two fingers above his eye and threw them outwards in a three-fingered salute.

Havok clambered up the ladders of the first free fighter he could find. He jumped into the seat and pressed a few buttons here and there.He dragged the cockpit canopy closed, jammed the headset onto his head and started giving orders to the computer.

"Power-up all systems"

"Commencing..." came the computer's voice. "...All essential systems are online. Nonessential systems are finishing power up sequences. Vehicle is now at flight status"

"Create commlink with the Espirit and friendly squadron"

"Commlinks open. Select primary channel"

"Set primary channel with friendly squardon"

"Confirmed"

A grin took over on Havok's face.

"This is Dragon Fire 3, AKA the Mayhem-Maker, ready for launch. Hope you boys are ready for a field trip"

Havok gripped the light stick and waited for the portal to open. The bay-door rolled slowly open and other fighters slowly edged forward. The door clanged as it finished rolling and Havok couldn't supress a shout.

"I was MADE for this crap!" he shouted over the intercom as his fighter blasted out of the hanger and into space. "WHOO yeah! So, what's our main objective?"

As soon as I heard The voice of another pilot on the head set, I soon came to realize that this one may not of had formal military training. Though with him having a totally diffrent fighter then me, might have some intersting results.

"This is Dragon Fire 1 to Dragon Fire 3, I'd advise toneing down your enthusism. Our main objective is to Provide Protection of the Espirt and its crew. Over."

"Dragon Fire 1 to Launch control, whomever you maybe, Request permission to launch."

"Request granted Dragon Fire 1, launch at your discretion."

"Thank you much. Computer, Launch from bay, intercept with Dragon Fire 3."

"Confirmed."

The fighter started moving foward very quickly, setting into a run, then with a leap and a blast from the thrusters, the fighter shot from the bay, then twisted very quickly in an attempt to catch up with the hasty one.

Havok listened to Alex's advice and watched as Alex's fighter shot out of the hangar and tried to enter formation with his ship.

"Hah! You don't know too much, do ya? I was literally BORN in one of these babies" Havok laughed.

"Computer, take escort position next to the Espirit"

His ship glided neatly into position on the bridge's left flank. Havok glanced at each holographic panel in his HUD before propping his feet against an unused panel.

"So, just what are we looking for out here? Just anyone on an intercept course?"

As Havok woke Simon up, he got up with a grumble and rubbed his eyes. He grabbed a coat and rushed out of the door and onto the tram. He could see the look of enthusiasm in Havoks eyes, it was clear he was looking forward to this, it was the first time he saw Havok smile for ages and he gave him a little smile. As soon as the tram stopped he felt the wind blow past as Havok ran off the the hangar and Simon giggled a bit. He gave a light jog towards the hangar not wanting to miss anything and as he walked into the hanger he saw so many fighters and ships he'd never seen or heard of before. He stared at each ship in awe and he felt like he was in a movie or something. As he walked past all of the ships he notice Kale standing by one. He walked up to him still looking a little sleepy.

"errrmmm...where do I go and what have I gotta do?"

"Oh, That's alright, DF3, I know... knew alot of pilots that have that mind set.

I suspect that We'll be giving cover fire. From what I've gathered on the intel, them creatures will move in, and in large swarms. So we'll be giving them cover from whatever comes in. We are going down to the surface, and the Espirt will be picking up survivors if there are any. I'll land on the ground, since I'm equipped for it. I'll lay down some cover fire, and supply you with hot sensor data. You'll be doing Air based cover, considering you don't have an ASAT. You'll be using my data, while in flight. That'll give you longer range and speed to react wherever neccesary. The Crew of the Espirit will exit the ship, in search of any survivors. Lest that's what I've gathered from what I've been briefed on. If we are lucky, we'll encounter light force, the area we are going is said to have light infestation. Our weapons will be more effective then their hand weapons. If it is possible, do a wide range fire, that'll cover a good area. Though lets stay away from the explosives, We don't need to cause collateral damage."

Taking a deep breath, I twisted my fighter around, and pulled up, hitting the afterburners, to intercept the area the Esprit will be at.

"Computer, When Espirit comes out, Land on the dorsal hull plating, and switch to turreted defense mode. I doubt our size will affect theirs too much. Not only will we supply an extra set of guns, but we get a free blast sheild, it'll save our plating for the landing."

"Confirmed, Engaging leg drives. Magnetic clamp systems activated, Awaiting Espirit approach."

""Light infestation", how boring. Well, at least it's dogfighting, kinda my style, though I'd still say a pyrotechnics show may be in order. Hang on, I'm gonna have to send a message to Kale. Out.

Computer, switch communications channel to Mothership. I gotta send a message straight to Kale"

"Confirmed. Communications channel open"

"Kale! Havok here. I don't know is Simon's down there but make sure he DOESN'T get out here. Things could get a little rough, if you know what I mean. Keep him in a safe place. Over and Out"

"Communications channel closed"

Havok took a deep sigh of relief and held his wolf-head pendant in his paw.

"Kale ... keep Simon safe at all costs. If you don't do it for me, do it for him..."

Murrg to to Simon and frowned a little "Kid if your planing on going with us put this on" he said handing Simon a bundle of cloth and a helmet before turning back to Kale.

As Murrg handed Simon the garments to put on he took them and put them on, they were slightly too big for him, but not uncomfortably too big. He looked up at Kale and Murrg and his helmet slid down his head, he pushed it back up and giggled slightly.

"So what's happening? i been asleep a long time so i dont know much, oh yea and Murrg if i remember correctly a while back you mentioned something that could rebuild my arm? or was that someone else?"

Murrg laughed as simon was having small problems with the suit "There is a small panel on the right arm kid push the button inside the suit will shrink and fit but it might not look like much but its almost as strong as this" he said thumping his own armor "but keep in mind it only has enuff juice for three mabey six hours tops then you will lose the hud sensors and servos "

Kale sat back into the main control chair as the ship lanuched itself and looked over murrg and simon, and smiled. He knew that with murrg and himself , he'd be safe enough. He opened up a comm channel "This is the espirit to fleet,we have go for launch, Dragonsfire one and three, form up with me, Two and four, you guys take the transport. Lets give em an air show they'll never forget!"
With that, kale interfaced fully, his body falling to sleep, and the ship curved off gracefully into the void, towards the rendevous point.
