Some states have bills in work to stop protests.
« on: January 28, 2017, 11:14:46 am »
States considering laws against protests. One state legislature is
working on a bill that would let people run over protesters if it's
not planed. How would we know if someone ran over someone
on purpose or not?

How long is it before these people make it illegal to speak out? much less
protest.

Here is a link on the subject.

once again these are not proper protests, they are riots/public disturbances. feel free to group up, go to the town/city hall and make sure they know you are unhappy. this is acceptable.

now blocking streets/walkways, yelling/making tons of noise, wearing/holding anything with inappropriate text or images on it, littering, etc. this is a public disturbance and should be banned/punished with a fine.

and smashing stuff, burning stuff, etc.... that's rioting..

most of the stuff iv been seeing is either the second or third one. though with the way governments are they are likely going to have a difficult time differentiating them so they are just going to throw it all under protesting. if protesting gets banned well thats going to be the fault of the people "protesting"

also if you dont want to get run over stay the hell off the center of highway/roads. highway/roads=car, sidewalk=human, human≠car, its that simple. hell with the way these people have been acting i can understand why someone would "runover" one. (full sleep through the crowd i'd consider excessive force, flooring it through starting with the vehicle stopped is reasonable under certain conditions, pushing through the crowd slowly i'd consider acceptable almost any time) hell one moment they can be calm and the next moment they might try to throw you out of your car.

It's true some protests should be controled for public safety, But
sometimes people have to stand up for what's right. Even if those in
power don't like it.

If we don't they will walk over anyone they wish.
