I suppose I oughta update everyone on my life!

I kinda disappeared for a little while. Life became busy, and I felt like I was having a more difficult time getting on the forums. Life sometimes does that to people, and I know it's natural to lose waver a little bit with dedication. Sometime in January, though, it kind of became apparent that I either needed to go all in or step out of the forums for good.

And I didn't step out

What I really need to do is get to know more members here personally. Please, don't be afraid to add me on Skype (the messenger I use most). I have a lot of peeps there, so I might not always be available to chat; however, I love chatting with you dudes. My Skype is alexandre.de.britos.santoro

Heya! I just found out that I've been accepted into grad school! I'll be working towards a Master's degree in American Studies with an emphasis in Folklore. I've been going crazy without school, to tell the truth. I love studying, and I am way excited to get back in the game

School is a good choice. I'd certainly rather be doing that with my life than sitting in a cubicle all day.
It's way early, but do you plan to go for the Ph.D and maybe teach?

Yeah, the plan is a Ph.D. I think I'm a bit crazy, but I really would like to teach on a university level. I enjoy academia, so I'll keep going
