Do any of you draw webcomics?
If so, what medium do you use? If on paper, what software do you use to edit and prepare the art to be displayed online? Who do you host with? How did you build your site: If you didn't just write HTML, what did you do?
I have lots of comic ideas, and drawing skill on par with the beginnings of Freefall (GO FLO!). I can write, and my dialogue is decent, and I know I have a long way to go before I'm ready to put anything up, but I want to develop my characters on the medium that I'll be using to produce the comic.

I never did get into web comics much. But most any good Paint software will prep a drawing
for the web after scanning it into your computer, unless you create it there. I generally go
with .jpg since they can be small files. If you don't have any experience with .html. You can
get software that will do most of the work for you. GoDaddy hosts websites and domains if
you like. Or you can post on art sites, or even with a Facebook page.
There are a few free html editors out there. Even the kind that shows what the page
looks like as you build it.
I would however suggest you start out doing a comic in black and white. Color though
pretty add significantly more work to it. You can always change to color later. or have special
editions in color.

We keep trying to get into this. Have one started co-authored with our sister (several pages and a lot of overall plotting and lots of concept art done but nothing ended up coming of it) but we both got busy.
As for websites, I believe theres a number of website engines specifically designed for webcomics if you dont want to design and script it yourself.
