I think this was in another topic.  '<img'>

Anyways, I've got phantom wings, and I can feel them open up in strong winds.  I've also got a phantomm beak and tail, though the feeling isn't as strong.

I get phantoms somewhat often, usually muzzle, tail, and ears, and I'm pretty sure I've never gotten more than one phantom at a time.

I don't think I've ever had phantom parts. They occur completely on there own without you having to think about them, correct?

I get a phantom tail and sometimes the pointed rodentian muzzle.  My strongest phantoms happen right when I wake up from a furry dream, which, sadly, hasn't happened for a while.  I get phantoms at random during the day too, but they're not as strong.  Usually with these weaker phantoms I don't get to feel my tail in all its huge, fluffy glory, just the feeling that there's something extending from my spine that curls upwards and then kinda fades.  After a furry dream, though, I can feel everything.

One time, I had a dream about dragons, and I woke up with phantom WINGS ':.'.  Freakiest damned feeling I ever had, because I don't have wings ':p'.  The feeling vanished after only a few seconds, but it had definitely happened.

FOr me I always get phantom ears. Not sure about the phantom muzzle or tail, but sometimes I can picture what it would feel like if I were to have them, though it's not a phantom shift. Anybody have any good methods they use to induce a phantom shift?  '<img'>

I have a phantom comic book collection?

I'd also like to know how to induce these phantom parts, or furry dreams because, well, I don't get any of them.

I occasionally convince myself to feel things. I don't know how this happens, but I can convince myself to believe stuff. There are times where I'll pulled up more self confidence by generating some wings.

But, meh, it's not the same thing.

Heh, that's why I sleep on my side.  When I lie on my back, I feel like I should be laying on my wings.

I felt phantom parts even before I knew of the fandom. o.0  When I found furry I was surprised to see that other people felt them too.  Mostly I control them, but somtimes they come when I'm not expecting them.

its the same way for me. i get furry dreams all the time, almost every night now and when i wake up, i swear i have extra body parts. as fun as it is to think i have a tail i would rather remain in that dream state, but then again who wouldn't?

I heard somewhere (so it's probably bogus '<img'>) that before you sleep, whatever you see for the last 10-20 minutes you are awake is going to have the strongest impression on your subconscious. Which makes sense I guess as it's the most recent thought before drifting off to sleep. Sometimes when looking at a lot of anthro pics or pics of wolves I've been able to sort of induce some degree of furryness into my dreams. Doesn't work all the time for me but when it does work, it /really/ does  '<img'>

Though I'm still looking for that 100% guarenteed method for fur dreams....  ':p'

i heard somewhere that they are working on some kind of machine that you program dreams into and then you hook yourself up to it and dream about whatever you want. i don't know if this is a machine that will be made available to everyone though. but it would be cool.

wanna see some really cool phantoms? do shrooms in the dark.

Wiskers-the feeling's there all the time but most noticable when I am in a situation where clearance is an issue.  When driving a large truck or towing a large trailer I can feel in my "wiskers" where I am in the lane and correct by feel. Also sensitive to minute vibrations that others miss.

':.'  They stole my idea.
Well, they would still have to add an extra feature onto it that allows the images in your dreams to be recorded on actual film by somehow transforming brain-waves into actual visual images so you can watch them after you've woken up to totaly steal my idea.

'<img'>  hehe that is almost like the movie strang days. That movie they had a way of recording peoples memeorys from there brains into decks. These decks would hook up to nero stimulators that would give the people playing them back a true feeling for the situation. Like a movie your totaly in. Great movie.

Really though phantom parts are fun when you have them.

I get a phantom tail or set of ears sometimes. They used to scare me a bit, but now I kind of like them. Occassionally if I'm lying in bed at night I can get a full morph if I want to, but not in any other situation...
its the oddest thing. I really didnt see this coming! We had dinner and talked about going over to his mother's house on Sunday and about getting a puppy. I thought things were getting serious. Then I wake up on Thursday and hes not here! just like that - gone! I asked some of his buddies in the system 32 folder but they didnt know what happened. I just dont understand.........

The only time I get eidolon (eidolon means phantom, ghost, or shadow for those who don't know! '<img'>) parts is after I take off my tail from wearing it for an exceedingly long time. I think that's called something like phantom tail synedrom or PTS...or I dunno', I once heard it called something like that... ':.' *giggles*

Generally just the wings though those are on a constant basis.  Sometimes the facial features as well though that is a rarity.

Hmmm.. I suppose that would explain why I always sleep on my stomach.
