Kobuk, have you ever seen the Battleship Texas? It's in Houston. I wanted to see it while on vacation and gets pics but it didn't happen.

Ahem. *cough* Getting back to talking about other things........

Has anyone seen or tried the two new Mt. Dew flavors that are out? I never heard or noticed anything about them till I went to the food court at the mall where I work and ordered some pizza for lunch.
They come in "World of Warcraft" themed bottles.

There's a blue color which says it is Dew with a fruit punch flavor. And then there is a red/orange color which is Dew with a citrus cherry flavor.

heck yea the citrus cherry flavor is back. they had that when halo three was out. i am not big in fruit punch. how did they taste kobuk

Despite being a gamer I'm not big on the game fuel stuff. My co workers say the red tastes good but the blue is awful. I'll stick to orange crush, coka cola, or green dew.

So how's it going, folks? Not much new from me. Just the usual work, come home, dinner, sleep, then work again routine.

Life is exciting, eh?

Other than my usual duties here at Furtopia, I've been working on another scratchbuilt model kit project for a Fall contest. I'll give ya a clue:
If built, the ship would've been 2000 ft. long x 300 ft. wide x 200 ft. tall. Here's a sample pic showing the main wood hull (in 1/700 scale) compared to two 1/700 scale World War II aircraft carrier flightdecks (end to end), and also a 1/700 Nimitz carrier and a Iowa battleship hull. Can anybody guess what I'm building?

I just got a brilliant idea for my next model..........and it'll be furry themed too!

So after I finish my Habbakuk ship (Yes, that's what the pic is slightly above.), I'm going to build an F/A-18E with the following decals:

I won't get a chance to build the jet till early next year sometime. Right now, I'm currently working on my Project Habakkuk ship.

Trust me, it'll be a very special "werewolf" model plane that I'll be building as a humorous subject for a future model contest next year.

It'll still look pretty much the same as a regular F-18, but with a few "slight" changes here and there.
But first, I'm trying to finish this:

Ok, good question.

There's not many furry books I have at home or have read recently. Some titles that I've read and liked are:

White Fang by Jack London
Call of the Wild by Jack London
I do have some Redwall books, but I've only gotten as far as the second book.

Mainframe: Beginnings by Simba Wiltz
Wolf's Trap by W.D. Gagliani
And I let someone borrow a book of mine called "Creatura" by Paul Lucas, but I never got the book back from the person.

I hope to find and buy more werewolf type novels in the future as that seems to intrigue me right about now.

I'd like to repeat my question at the start of this page.

Have you ever seen the Battleship Texas? I've seen it and love the ship, you can take tours on it and learn a lot about its history, I'm very curious to hear your thoughts on it since you seem to really like battleships and things of old wartime nature.
