The "Black and White Cuddle" looks great! I can see an improvement in your sketching, Chaz.

They look so cute! A bear and a wolfy?

You may want to resize the "Firestorm" one as it is taking some time to download. So, I only saw it quite pixelated.  '<img'>

The adult one, you may want to work on your shading for body contour. Otherwise, I think that is a very interesting concept of the two of you! Haven't seen that pose before.

Howls Kada-Ru,

Thanks.. The first one was supposed to be two wolves kissing..  but thanks.

The Firestorm one was a trade so I wanted it to be in a decent size..

As you can see from the full downloaded Firestorm picutre I am working on my computer shading.. is easer to add the shading with penciles...
I am learning to do it on the computer..

I wasn't able to see the Firestorm one.

A suggestion, since you want to give Firestorm the full version, what about posting a smaller version here and then putting the full version on your website for him? That's a possibility.

Oops, sorry about the bear. I noticed it was two wolves after I saw the title of the piece and then your adult one. Figured they were both you and Railo.  '<img'>

It just takes practice to get shading whether done with pencils, computer or other medium. Good luck with it and I'm sure it will turn out great!

Yes, I remember seeing those at AC. Well done!

Practicing never hurts, that is for sure!  '<img'>  except when it hurts the hands and wrists!

They all look great Chaz , I too have noticed you  added some "shading" to Max,  Shading is such a "variable" part of a picture, as light sources, techniques, colors, have an influence on the shades. looks good *  I remember sombody mentioning in another topic that you had both your hands
"messed up" I wondered what they mean't by that. You have them injured ? either way, doing art with any hand restriction is an amazing feat !  '<img'>

Small question, do you draw the body shape first and superimpose the pic on top, or do you just draw the entire picture without guidelines/shapes. (Ie: ovals for arms, legs and a curved square for the body, etc...)

I know I do both, but when I'm trying to make it more realistic, I will draw the outlines.
Your art is really good O^-^O I do believe that if you continue to practice, it will become even better. My art was on the very low end of the scale when I started out, but I've gotten better, and still am. '<img'>

I broke both my hands more than once.. and the doctors say if I do it one more time they will NOT be able to put them back together again.

My finger joints are almost totaly messed up. On the plus side I am now dubbel jointed. '<img'> and when I flex my fingers it makes my coworkers ill.. my fingers go right back.

I have always put shading on my pencil drawings.. I am just starting to do it on the computer colored ones now.. As you can see from my new peace for Kada-Ru -
Kada-Ru (Web Jpg)

If I am trying to draw a realistic drawing I tend to just stright out draw it.. no ovels or anything.. but when I want to put more than one furson in the drawing I might put one ovel or like for each to make sure I have them all about the right size and placment.. but thats all.

*steamed*

"fun on the stairs", to be correct, is MY art with Chaz' modifications, and thus, is copyright to BOTH of us.

this is the second time I've run into a piece that he's modified, and not told me he's posted it.

my style is fairly recognizeable:see http://us.vclart.net/vcl/Artists/Sniffs

Checked out your webpage on VCL, Sniffs. I got a chuckle out of a couple of them. Especially the one you did as a hoot for a friend and he actually surprised you by him liking it!

How did Chaz modify your piece, the stairs one?

I noticed on your Furtopia website that you have a broken link where your friend Phil, drew 'you' but it isn't displaying.

Howls Kada-Ru,

The truth of the matter is that Sniffs Drew a pencil sketch of a drawing..
I edited and redrew it myself, I inked it, and I colored it.. WITH Sniffs permission.

I nolonger work with Sniffs on any artwork due to him trying to bad mark me. And telling lies about me trying to make me look bad.

Alot of the new artwork on Sniffs site is inked, colored and scanned by me anyway..

The best advice I could give anyone for artistry is this. Dont start your art by drawing forgrounds before you draw backgrounds, dont start your artistry with furries/animals/anthros and stick with basic non-mobile objects to learn shading and curvature, and definatly learn proportions. The rest comes later. Not bad Chaz.
