The experiment of being on the space station for a year ends
on March 1 when astronaut Scott Kelly returns to earth.
Apparently the Russians didn't plan to have their cosmonaut
there for a year so Kelly will have to return when he does. after
340 days. March 27 2015 to March 1 2016.
I am sure even though it's about a month short, they have
learned enough to see how the body reacts to long term space
travel. Perhaps they will have a longer stay in the future if this one
turned out well. Kelly seems to be in good spirits and looking forward
to being on the earth again.
We hope he and his comrades have a safe landing on Marcch 1.
