Is Trump a madman, or really smart?
« on: September 14, 2016, 12:26:34 pm »
Sometimes I wonder if Trump has all his marbles. Though he could just
know how to manipulate his followers. He has been a salesman for many
years. I am sure he understands how the human mind works, and how
to make people believe in somthing even if it's wrong.

If you think otherwise some very intelligent people have joined Cults and
committed suiside when told to do so.

Bomb the _____-out of them he says. Bombs do harm to property, but
if you don't envade with ground troops those who are left will continue.

He even got cheers when he said. "If they make rude gestures  to our sailors  from
small boats blow them out of the water."  Only the leader of North Korea said he felt
disrespect is worth starting a war over. So now we have Trump basically saying it too..

He gets cheers for everything he says. Like the audience is paid to do it. He
never wants to confront those who oppose him. His ralleys are private meetings
and only invited guests are allowed. He has been running Clinton down for calling
his supporters names, but if he really was for all americans why hide from the
general public.

I think Trump is a bully and thinks only of himself. But he knows how to sell ideas
and influnce people. So he is more like someone who will lie and cheat to
get what he wants.

Wither it be Trump or any other politician you like. Stop and ask yourself."am i
having to make excuses to support them?" Could be you are, and if so make
sure it's your ideas and not theirs.

HA. Smart, Pull the other one. The guy is completely and utterly mad, and a danger to be in any position of power.

Probably nuttier than a fruitcake.  :P But if he had a psych evaluation, he'd probably refuse to disclose the results to the press or the public.  :D

The only thing he's good at is lying. If he was smart he wouldn't have to rely on noting but lying, fear and propaganda. Don't confuse bulling with intelligence.

i have a feeling that all the stuff he says is just talk/trying to get the american people to vote for him. it seems to be working so that might be it.

he's a sales man so it also seems very likely

Well, of course it's working. As the old phrase goes: "United we stand, Divided we fall."    Seems Trump is doing a damn good job of the latter rather than the former.  :goldpissed:  His incessant lying, badmouthing, etc. is tearing this country apart. He has done more damage than any other Presidential candidate before him. And it's going to take a very long time for us to recover from his shenanigans.

If any of you all have ever been to a Amway meeting you would know how easy it is
to get people to believe in something. Especially if the salesman promises a chicken in
every pot. so to speak.

It's all about selling an idea. Know what the public wants and selling it isn't hard. Especially
when the news media gives you tons of free advertising. Not counting giving him the benifit
of the doubt, and the opponent an accusing view.

One news outfit called one of Trumps lies "stretching the truth".  Why not call a lile a lie
for pete's sake.. In case your wondering. He claimed Clinton didn't have any plan for child
care. She has had one on her web site for months, and he knew it.

If he pulls off a win, I hope we and his supporters don't end up regreting it.  Of course
he might be lying with plans to revert to his liberal thinking. I wonder if his supporters would
still like him after that.

Trump is a salesman. He knows many people will belive something if you
say it enough times and long enough, even if it's a lie.  Thats how conspiracy
theories start.

Being a showman he  knows how to get media attention to promote his lies.

The media may say it's a lie or stretching the truth, but not nearly as often
as he makes claims it might be true.

Trump is selling his self, and ideas many people favor. Unfortuantly many
people want to beiieve him, or feel he is just lying to win and will become
a president who will work to do everything he says.

I hope I am wrong, but all I see is a "con artist" who is out to serve his self, and
not the people.

More proof that Trump is trying to mis lead the public is his claim that Obama isn't
a american citizen for at least the last 5 years. Now he says it was Clinton who made
him do it. He claims it was Clinton saying in 2008 that Obama wasn't born in the USA.

This is a lie. He is only trying to shift the claim he has made about Obama
from hisself to her. He and his people do this constantly. He never takes
responsibility for anything. It's Clintons fault or the medias fault or whoever.
It's never never never his fault.  :P

Just like some little kid would do. Even his bullying is childish.
It's time he grew up.

I see this whole election like a game of Russian roulette. With Hillary you play the game with a semiautomatic, but with Trump you can at least spin the barrel... who knows how many are loaded in it though.

I accually was beginning to think Trump might be playing a game
with his base and others to get elected. Now though with how he
was in the first debate I am thinking he isn't playing a game. It's
just who he is. A spoiled rich guy who thinks he can get what he
wants because he has a lot of money. He likely plans to use the
presidency to enrich himself and family even more.

Most people who are born with the proverbial silver spoon in their
mouths have little or no idea what it's like to not have anything or
to go hungry. Even Marie Antoinette said at the beginning of the French
revolution. "Let them eat Cake."  Did she really know how desperate
people really were?  I doubt it. She ended up loosing her head, but
the problems between the rich class and the lower classes remain, and
likely always will.

Money and power can be an addiction, the more they get the more they
want. With success they begin to think they are smarter, and think they
know what's good for others. Trump fits this. He has more money than
whole towns of people need, but he still wants more. He likely tells his
self "It's for my family." I doubt his famly need that much. They could
live like kings for the rest of their lives. But like many people who have
money. They run out of things to buy so they want to buy or control
others with their money and power. Trump doesn't even befieve in
charity. He wants others to think he does, by having a foundation, then
never gives to it, and there is talk he takes money from it for his own
use. He even bragged about not paying taxes. Said it was because he was
smart. Does that mean he thinks the rest of us are stupid for paying taxes?

People will vote for him, some will tell themselves It's because they don't
want Clinton, or because they want change.  If they really want change
vote for new congressmen and senators. The president isn't going to
do much to change things or make jobs.

I watch rallies by Trump and Rallies by Clinton.

A list of things I see
Both require no weopons.
Trump rallies are called Private meetings. No opponents allowed, only supporters.
Clinton rallies everyone is welcome.

What is Trump afraid of?  He hides in his Tower. He hides his Taxes. He hides and lies about
how he treats women, He lies about how he treats minorities, except hispanics. They are  bad
people to hear him talk.

Clinton speaks to regular people, not just her supporters as Trump does.

People say I think Trump is less evil than Clinton. Polls show more people like Clinton over
Trump. Kind of odd isn't it.

Trump calls Clinton "Crooked Hilery" To me this is strange. A man who apparently took a
quarter of a million dollars from his charitable foundation to pay his own bills. Used money
to from the foundation to help support a politician.

Trumps accused of cheating dozens if not hundreds of people.

And he has the gall to call his opponet crooked?  Don't make me laugh. He makes the average
crook look ilke an angel.

I have heard many accusations that Clinton has done bad things, but where is the proof? Oh
there are tons of conspiracy theories about her. Whole websites dedicated to it.  Some might
say. She must be bad with all those theories about her.  Most of them were created for plitical
reasons by political opponents who hate what she stands for. She was a US senator, and re elected
easily. Would people vote for if she was doing a bad job? She got 20 Billion dollars to help rebuild
New York City after 911. Is that the mark of a bad person who only thinks of them self?

The GOP has spent millions of tax payer dollars trying to  take her down, and they admitted
doing it for political reasons Why not kick them out of office for mis using tax dollars.

No they have told the american public they were only looking for the truth, over and over, and
over again. Nothing but lies, because they found nothing, but they kept hoping they would.
Then they found the famous emails. I imagine they all had a party later. The FBI clearned
Clinton. But Trump claims Bill Clinton covered for her. Another C Theory of course.

I can't change the minds of Trumps followers. He and the GOP have convenced  their followers
into believing she will destroy us all. She must be worse because there are so many bad stories
about her. Some even call her and Obama Demons of all things. One nut said he saw a lot of flies
landing on Obama, so he has to be of the Devil.  :P

The whole Trump campain has brought out the craszies of the country. Trump doesn't tell them
to go away. He embraces them, and people still support him. (sigh)

Trump is in this for the money he can make, and nothing else. In the late 1990's he  said he couldn't
run for president because he was he knew his background would prevent it. He lost almost a Billion
at the time and was bearly making enough to live the lifestyle he wanted. He started the "Apprentice"
reality show to make money which is ok, but he knew it would fade away so when Obama was elected
he started the idea that Obama wasn't a real american. This was his road to politics. To make money
because he was going broke in his opinon.

That's why he won't show his tax returns, it would prove he isn't as rich or the success heas he
claims to be. It would show his connections to other countries too. Like perhaps Russia.

They run Bill Clinton down, but his admiistration had a balanced federal budget. Perhaps that
made his opponents mad. His sexual activities were his, and Mrs Clinton wanted to save her
family Most women would want to save the family even to punish any woman that might try to
disrupt it.  I doubt most men could understand how that feels to a woman.

Vote for who you wish, but I hope if Trump wins we don't all regret it. I feel Clinton wants to
help make it a better country, and even if most of the stories are true she is still much better
than the evil Trump.  Unless of course you wish to return to the politics of the 1950's. Oh the
good old days when boys wanted to marry a woman just like the one their dad did. When Blacks
had their own bathroom , hispanics were called "Wetbacks" and women were treated like secon
class citizens.  Almost forgot. Gays were called perverted criminals.

Oh and Wikileaks reports never lie.  Sure they don't.   :P It's a Russian mouthpiece. The CIA
shows a 90% likelyhood of Russian Hackers. How do we know they don't edit what they
come up with. Trump says it's not Russia, but the briefings he has been getting told him
about the Russian connection.

I don't know about anyone else, but if Putin wants Trump. That alone would be
enoough to cost him my vote.
