As for a fursuit maker, a Google search (http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1&q=Fursuit+maker+in+Chicago) could point you in the right direction. Found someone. Wonder if they still do fursuits.
