End World
« on: June 28, 2003, 02:15:38 am »
when will this land begin to cease,
when will the world at last crumble,
why do the fates not ease the excrutiating unbearable pain
of a dying world in its last light.

why must the inhabitants complain,
why must they try to stop the inevitable,
what will they do when they learn that their time has come
and it is impossible to delay.

what will be left once the apocalypse has ended,
what will remain after the end has come and gone,
will a random passerby be able to discern the violent past
of the lifeless debris?

will this observer stop and mourn,
will the being pause and reflect,
or will this foreign creature begin to wonder of the lifespan
of their own world?

It's a question of origin. Nothing less.

Tis a good piece. Seems to fit in with a gamer. Like the begining or end of a war game where some new evil force comes for the good guy. lol. Keep up the work my friend. You have the talent, maybe it hides in you till the time is right for it.
Life? Ha, the greatest joke. Tis surely proof that God has a sense of humor, all be it a sadistic one.

come out of the blue or not, i like it. talk about weird, take a look at the poem i posted friday night titled "the death knell of man" over in my First fur related poem thread, it to just sorta typed itself, its bizarre we'd both have such similar experiences with a similar theme so close together, *shudder* ':.'
Or i could be wrong, its been known to happen,     a lot,       (headhang and sigh).

Nobu" means "faith", "trust" and "fiedelity". "naga" is the kanji for "long".

Very nice poem, Kez Bentley! Do you have more to share? Have you a website with your poetry to show? If not, and you have more to share, you may also apply for a website here at Furtopia.org. There are many types of artists and being a poet is just one of them!

As everyone is finding out here about their poetry, it doesn't HAVE to follow any certain pattern. Just express how one feels or portray something to the readers.

(and say whats on your mind, dont go easy on meh.)

(giggles) I think you should write some more to share!
