Wow! Those look awesome. Of course I've seen the one for BTD, but not the full sized pic. Looks great with the clouds.

The one with the eagle and the greyhound is so cool. Looking forward to seeing what you come up for me. *smiles* Great artwork.  :)

(giggles) It will know your paws off! (LOL)

Thanks for the comments. Apparently the woman that commissioned the eagle/greyhound one was having it done for one of her friend's birthdays and the person loves eagles and greyhounds.

:D Well I hope so. *smiles*

Yeer welcome. It's great that you were able to make the drawing and make the person happy with it. Very cool to see someone besides a fur commissioning you though I'm sure it happens more than I know about. I love to look at real animal art as well as anthro.

My son and his family know I am a fur and so does my sister and I do real animal pics for them every year. Which I am behind for birthdays this year! (yells at self! )

If you look at my 2003 section there is a section of non-anthros. Creating those helped me get better with my art for my anthros. (smiles)

That's cool. My parents and several of my friends know about me being a fur and their cool with it.

Cool. I'll have to check it out. I'm sure that doing real animals would help out tremendously with doing anthro art. :)

I think my real animals are better than my anthros but I am working on that. (smiles)

Your skill with the pastel look in color amazes me.  I never can tell if you are using dry or wet media.

(giggles) So far mainly dry. Those two were with Prisma pencils.

I just finished a my side of a trade for Ulario and I'm posting it under a new topic, "trades". (giggles)

That's great. Pretty much the same thing that I've seen in your artwork since my first commission. There has been much improvement in what I've seen from you. :)

Aye, I agree.

A bit off topic, but after a few posts in my forum and a talk with Patrick last night, I might just try my paw at drawing my fursona. I'm not quite sure what I'll come up with, but it should be interesting. I'm not at all an artist so when I get around to it, we'll see how it'll look.  :D

You're not the only one, Kada-Ru. This is a whole new thing that I'm going to dive into. I've pruchased a book, "How to Draw Animals" by Jack Hamm. I also plan on getting his other books as well. They were recommended by a good friend of mine, Major Q. So, for the time being, I'll be practicing shapes and trying to put together a structure for me to use. :)

Speaking of Major Q, he is currently doing a commission for me. I made a new topic thread in my forum section that will have drawings that have been done for me. I have a color tested version of the pic there alreday. Please check it out when you get the chance. It's so awesome. :)

*big otter smile* That's alright, I know how everyone gets busy. I've been quite busy myself with the story and trying to get into drawing. I still need to get some materials. I should begin sometime this week. :)

Awesome. Thanks so much. I recently was chatting with Captain Q and he said that my commission is almost done. :) Just a few days ago, I got Patrick's newest commission in the mail. YAY!! It's now framed and hanging on my wall.

I drew your character with regular wings but I will redo them so they are dragon wings. (smiles) Sorry about that.

Hehe, I'm a stud. *smiles* That's quite alright about the wings. The ones that you did draw do look quite nice on me. Thanks for making the change though. Can't wait to see it. Pretty cool seeing me with digitrade legs. First drawing made of me with them. :) I love the femmes. Very nice, and my baithing suit is rather intreresting.

Thanks Kada-Ru. I love it. *big toothy otter grin*

The vixens certainly don't seem to mind the regular wings. :D

But isn't the muzzle very long for an otter?

(giggles) I'm glad you like it Otto. What's wrong with the bathing suit? Too small? Too large? You want an old time swim suit with the straps? (LOL)

I have this one scanned so I will always have a copy of it with the regular wings. The colored version though will have the right wings. (smiles)

Yes Unicorn, I have to look at some pics to get the head right. Luckily, this was only a sketch.

Hey, if you need any pictures of otters to look at, I have many websites that'll be able to help you out. Just let me know and I can send you a PM with several URL's.

(smiles) I'm glad you like. I don't know how to draw younger fursons. One day when SOE and I both have some time together, he said he would help me learn to draw them. :)

Sure, send me some otter links. That would help a bunch! That way I don't have to look them up on the web. (LOL) I feel like being lazy today. (smiles)

I think the vixens are smitten with his 'muscles'! (smiles)

Once we get our new website up I will have some time to work on artwork and will finish coloring all my sketches and the trades/commissions etc. And then find time to finish artwork for AC! (LOL)

Well, I think that you drew my young fursona quite well. That sounds great that Patrick is helping you out. He'll be a tremendous help with the younger fur drawing.

(giggles) Thanks for the links. I always save the images to my hd since some URL's go down. That way I still have the pics.

We are working on it as we speak. Need to get it finished then we may put up a small ad here on the forums but nothing big. It doesn't have anything to do with Furtopia.

Yes, it will be great meeting you all at AC and seeing SOE again!

*edit* Got the pics!

The pups are so adorable! (smiles) Yes, I learned a lot about how to draw them just downloading the pics. (smiles)

*smiles* Yeer welcome. You also have all the commissions that Patrick has done for me also to help you out if needed. While his site is temporarily down, you can access them from my site. I save all images to my HD. You should see my otter folder. It's filled with so many pics. :)

Sounds great. I'm sort of working on my webpage as well. I just uploaded a new background for my 2nd index page. I'm trying out different looks to see what I like.

It'll be wonderful to meet everyone that I've gotten to know. Both here, in my LJ, and through my yahoo groups. I have so many to meet. 4 days is just not enough. *sigh*

I just downloaded all, but one, of the pics on the links you sent me.

Cool. If you need more, just let me know. I have a good collection of otter pages.

Thanks, I'll most likely find a background that I really like and stick to that one for all my web pages. I have a few to choose from. :)

Aye, the con needs to be at least a week just so one can get to meet everyone and hang out with them.

The ones you gave me will work just fine. Thanks, Otto!

In a few months, or a year, you can always change the scenery. Nothing says you have to keep the same style the entire life of the webpage. (smiles)

and then another week just to see everything that is going on! (LOL)

Yeer Welcome. I'm more than happy to help out. Looking forward to seeing the drawing.

That's true. I just need to sit down and mess around with the program that I use and see it's full potential for making webpages. I've just been doing basic stuff and I want to add a bit more flair to my pages.

LOL! Exactly. This will be my first convention so I'm going to try and get the most out of it while I'm there. I need to learn to go without sleep for about 4 days.

For myself, I have started using Dreamweaver MX and I LOVE it! I haven't found anything about it yet that I don't like. I am so used to keying everything in by hand that this seems like a cheat program!

It's a fantastic program. (smiles)

Trust me, a lot of folks do go without sleep the wholetime! (LOL)

Cool. Sounds like a great program. I'm quite happy with what I use. Maybe after I get a better understanding of how to make webpages, I might be able to use the program that you have. I'm still learning just how to do things.

Well, maybe the younger furs might be able to go without sleep for a long period of time, but I might try to catch some Z's here and there. Still, with all the excitement, I might be able to go without sleep for a little while.

That's pretty much how I learn a lot of things. Through trial and error. I have definately been doing a lot of that with my website. I haven't done much to it as of late since I'm trying to concentrate really hard on finishing the initial draft of my story. Hopefully I'll be able to work a bit on my site over the weekend. I see all kinds of things from other sites that I would love to implement onto mine.
